BW Forum could be Read but members/guest had problem posting and personal messaging. 2. The above glitch was traced to TWO issues. A. Our Forum Software Licence had Expired BW survives from hand to mouth. Once in a while we fall behind in our payment for our software licence, hosting ISP etc. This results in lapses in our BW Forum services. We have since paid up the forum licence fee. Solution: Support our Advertisers, this is BW's sole source of income to pay our bills. And if you have lobangs, do refer more advertisers to our mods. B. This was a technical fault in our Auto-Upgrade system As our mods are all unpaid volunteers, most of the time we set our Forum and PHP "Software Download/Upgrade" to "Automatic Un-Supervised" for small patches. This practice allows the system to automatically upgrade with minimal mod's intervention. Especially relevant for security patches which is happening quite often. This practice isn't ideal and some say "downright dangerous". However it allows volunteer mods like us to spend our time effectively to keep the forum auto-running and auto-tuned. What we saw in the last 18 hours is an example of the above process went Berserk when combined with the software licence expiry. We have rectified the issue. 3. We will be doing some health check internally. The mods discussed internally and we realised we are all no longer young with health concerns for our family/friends and ourselves. But we will manage. 4. Hope everyone took a good break from this BW downtime and renewed your contact with some friends in the real world. If not, the weekend is here. 5. This little "hiccup" won't bother us much eh! Also appreciate @Male-HQ's contribution (I think the only advertiser?) yeah, haha. Male-HQ 1 Happy - is what we should be, always.
