Since I started this lovehandles things, I thought I should clarify. It is not the same as spare tyre as lovehandles refer only to fats at the sides. Having a tummy (infront) is not considered as having lovehandles. People, like myself, can h ve reasonable abs infront & yet have lovehandles.

Thanks for the 2 radically different pieces of advice. The aerobics one is techinically simple, but requires endurance & mental discipline as I was told that one begins to burn fats only after the first 0 to 30 mins of the exercise. The other recommendation sounds refreshing, but appears to require very specific techniques & movements. Thanks again! I shall try them out .........

Getting rid of love handles. Stop believing all the bullshit that spot reducing works, and by exercising a particular part of your body will get rid of the the fat. Its a very undeducated view

The only way to get rid of love handles is to burn fat by doing aerobic exercise. Doing sit ups, and twists and other exerises develop the muscles in that area, but as long as there is a fat cover the muscles cannot be seen. A lot of people already have n ce abs, but becaise of fat covering it, they are not visible.

To Kenny.......while most people will recommend u to do side-sit-ups or the normal sit-up twists......I would suggest u to try this very tiring BLASTER method.......notice how all discus-throwers, canoeing people, javelin throwers, swimmers who specialise in frontcrawl have that perfect "V"......thats because most importantly whenever you twist u should ensure the entire body twist along naturally......this ensures all muscles groups utilised are worked effectively to promote the burning of the fat there. By doing so u can stretch and twist more and further and burn more.........the normal sit-ups simply just isolates each muscles group so it will take longer to burn off that lovehandle........So just pick up a reasonable circular free weight (5-7kg)...sta d with legs apart, one in front of another and position yourself in front of the mirror....if the left leg is in front use the curl of your right hand (from palm to wrist) to hold the round weight as if u r a discus thrower.....then bend the legs slightly and twist and turn your upper back (dun move the feet at all) as far as possible....then twist strongly back to the front while "projecting" the weight as far out and up.....yes up..as possible (but do not release the weight of course)......The movement i just like discus throwing.......every movement should be and must be natural......the unused hand may carry a weight but just let it hang as a counterweight balance....U might face diffuculities using one hand to lift and 'throw' the weight but thats the beauty of it cos the weight mass will help to ensure u have to 100% twist your body HARD in order to lift it up into the air by one hand :-) make sure u alternate your hands......this exercise is good for the upper thighs, back and ass also....... ...remember to twist and reach out as far as possible too.......and concentrate looking into the mirror at that spot........

Hi guys, just a thought to share.....recently a friend and I talked about the topic of an Open Relationship as compared to a closed one.
