I was told ubereat, deliveroo and Foodpanda, can make as much as $6000 a month. Called them up, they said must invest in a electric bike or scooter...then they will tell me the tricks.

They said similar to Uber / Grab, except UberEat needs no licence , just bicycles and electric scooters ..Anyone here knows ?

Guest lobang good?

If the deal is too good, think again!!!

Also, why we need to go higher education if u can make 72k/yr.

After u invest in a scooter, u are their pawn to be moved around.

UberEATS drivers in Singapore earn approximately average $53,320 (SGD) per year. ( $23 per hour )

The average UberEATS driver earns about $17.09 per trip and makes about 2 trips per hour ($34.18).

I suspect it also depends on how well one plans the route. If you get a dozen deliveries at the same or adjacent office blocks, you could conceivably earn the dozen delivery commissions in under an hour.

Gross income of $6000 before deducting expense, is possible.

Nowadays, a lot of office work no use one.  Use head, and opportunity will make you go far one.   See Steve Job and Jack Ma, they were outcasted and rejected by society, no you see, they all became super rich one.  Yes, be the one and only one, otherwise be a nobody one.

but I read somewhere that only a small number of people can achieve like that. more like very rare and exceptional cases.

A highly conforming society like Singapore's cannot ever produce anyone who has the sparks to start, grow and expand business.

Any slight deviation from the social norm, such as Amos Yee, opposition party, gays, are frowned upon.

Singapore can only 'excel' being and administrator, and not even a specialist.

With competition from bigger countries with better human and material resources far and near, Singapore will have a hard time to make even a basic living in future.

just like the Alvin Tan case, now he is a porn star in US. sometimes been wondering, did he really enjoy that? is there any slight moment that he regretted his action? he could be a successful lawyer by making use of his talent. he might need to work late but at least a stable job. if without all these social media, would he still wanted to do all these rebellious act. with no one to show and no place to attract attention.

Even can earn $6000 per month, the working hours should be quite long. Long hours driving or riding on road is not fun and quite tiring and stressful.

The job may not be that hard. They may get tips for the deliveries and may provide extra service to easily earn 6k per month.

Grab has promised $6,000 per month before but once drivers sign up they realize it is pretty damn hard to hit that amount due to long hours, no rest days, having to bend over backwards just to hit their incentives etc..

I believe it's pretty much the same with food delivery too. You may make $6,000 a month but you still have the upkeep of your motorbike/e-scooter to consider.

Unless you're lowly educated and can't find a decent paying job, I'd suggest you go look for an office job where you can climb the ladder or maybe upgrade yourself with skills to stay employable. Do you really want to be doing this dead-end job for life? It's only a matter of time once AIs take over these delivery jobs but hey I digress.
