The story of Ethan and Xavier

Lennon

Recommended Posts

This story is for the most part fictional, with the occasional weaving in of my own experiences. I personally appreciate writing more as compared to porn (not that I don’t like it), and my story will focus on the relationship between Ethan and Xavier, revolving around my passion for food as well.

My work may, from time to time, be a tad technical being ardent with anything to do with food and cooking. Of course, my writing encompasses the erotic nature, but my first couple of chapters will be dedicated to building up the foundation of the story.

As this would be my very first time writing, I do look forward to constructive feedback and thank you all in advance for your time taken to read my story.

For food is more than just sustenance, the language of food is non-deceiving and it does not discriminate. It lays bare, all secrets on the plate; rich with history, a story to tell, the brilliance of the hands behind the stoves.

The first chapter
Shades of Gold and Brown

______________________

Xavier looked at his watch, 10.35AM.

“Good, I’m still a little early” he thought to himself. Xavier has an interview for an intern position at a new restaurant, La Forêt. Opened 6 months ago, La Forêt is helmed by Chef Ethan and serves contemporary cuisine.

Despite having opened 6 months ago, La Forêt has been the talk of the town. The 30 seater restaurant is helmed by a young chef named Ethan. There have been many visits paid by food critics and reviews have been nothing short of exemplary.

Their call for an internship position is highly coveted for and comes at an opportunistic timing. Xavier is now at his final semester. He will graduate with a diploma in the culinary arts upon completion of the internship. Having heard so much about La Forêt, Xavier did not hesitate much to send his resume over.

As the familiar surroundings of Holland road outside of Dempsey Hill came into view, Xavier pressed the bell to signal his intent.

Xavier got off at the bus stop opposite of Dempsey Hill and made his way to the restaurant. Dressed in a light blue shirt with black pants and dress shoes, Xavier stands at 180cm tall; slim in build and slightly defined from a few years of Aikido practice. He keeps his hair short and neat and wears a pair of black square framed spectacles.

Walking up the streets, Xavier passes by many well-known restaurants; Dempsey Hill is home to quite a gastronomic treat. As he got closer to the restaurant, he catches the first glimpse of the exterior. Pristine white curtains were drawn across the windows. The main door was a wooden framed glass with a rectangular gunmetal handle. On the glass, the frosted wordings “La Forêt” catches Xavier’s attention at eye level.

“This is it. Game on. Let’s get this.” Xavier mentally readied himself.

His hands pushed the handle; it was smooth and cooling to the touch. A pleasant fragrance perfumed the space. Subtle notes of sweet wood lent a background earthiness, fresh florals held its ground, and mild hints of warm spices waft through almost teasingly. A warmly lit short walkway marked by the long white drapes that hanged from the ceiling to the floor coaxes his curiosity to take a peek into the dining room. A gentleman stood behind a waist high cypress wood counter that faced the door at an angle. On it sat a Macbook Air, a cylindrical glass vase with an arrangement of branches and a few white flowers that graced its presence, and a few sheets of paper. Xavier observed with a very calm demeanour, watching the gentleman who wore a well-tailored suit; a pen in his right hand, a phone held to his ear on his left. He took a quick glance up upon Xavier’s entrance, gave a gentle nod and smiled, raising his hands ever so slightly to signal that he will be with him shortly. Xavier took the opportunity to observe more of the restaurant. Looking down, the polished floors shine.

“Granite?” Xavier questioned himself.

“Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this evening.” The gentleman concluded his conversation on the phone. He hung up, placed the phone down and walked towards Xavier.

Extending his right hand, he offered a handshake. “You are Xavier, am I right?”

Xavier shook his hands. “Yes I am,” noting that he had a little accent, probably of Japanese descent.

“Perfect. Chef Ethan is expecting you at 11. I’m Matthew, the general manager of La Forêt. It looks like you are a little early. Follow me, I’ll introduce you to Chef.”

Matthew leads the way, taking Xavier through the dining room. Stepping out from the walkway, the tables come into sight. Each was well distanced from the other with a spotlight illuminating each table as if glowing. A single sheet of pressed, creaseless white table cloth lined each table, and a concrete grey kintsugi plate marked the territory of each seat. The centrepiece of the table was a palm sized flat, round and shallow basin filled with small black pebbles. From each of them, an arching stalk of orchid extended with a few blades of oval shaped leaves crowning the base.

The ceiling had a grid of wooden beams that reminded Xavier greatly of Japanese temples. Along the walls, flower arrangements, similar to the table centrepieces, sat in niches. A large single glass wall on the right side of the restaurant separated the dining room from the wine cellar behind. Another gentleman was inside, arranging the numerous bottles on the racks. Two other staff busied themselves with the polishing of wine glasses. They looked up without a pause in their task at hand and gave a quick smile to Xavier. All of them are dressed in similar fashion as Matthew did, carrying the same aura of calm and poise.

Matthew glides pass the tables gracefully, arriving in front of the kitchen. A spotless glass window separates the hustle and bustle that is the kitchen. Two gentlemen and a lady in chef whites were working; each hovering above their task with utmost concentration.

“They couldn’t all be more than 30 years old” Xavier thought to himself.

“Wait here for just a moment” Matthew smiled and entered the kitchen. An automatic sliding door was placed at the end of the long window.

Matthew caught the attention of one of the chef, whose back was facing Xavier. A few words passed from his lips and an assertive nod came from the chef.

The kitchen looked amazingly organized despite the flurry of motion ongoing. Even then, as Xavier observed, every action was not wasted. The calm atmosphere can be felt just by watching them work. The countertops are spotless; not a single piece of equipment seen out of place.

Matthew popped back out from the other sliding door and gestured to the hallway on the left side of the kitchen.

“Chef has requested for you to wait for him the office upstairs and he will be with you in a few minutes.”

“Okay” Xavier replied, not expecting that there was another level.

“This way” Matthew proceeds to lead the way.

At the end of the hallway, there were two dark mahogany doors. On the right was one with the universal sign for toilet engraved at eye level, and on the left, a wooden sliding door with the word ‘Office’ engraved in it. Matthew slid it open and a narrow staircase, parallel to the hallway, led upstairs. Matthew brought Xavier up.

The space above functioned as an office, Xavier noted. Desks line the walls with three computers on them. A rack of neatly organized attire was positioned on one side of the wall; pressed chef’s jackets, black pants, blazers, shirts of few sizes hung. In the centre was a large rectangular table. On it were many sheets of paper, some of which had scribbles and sketches.

“This must be where they have meetings and plan out the menu!” Xavier exclaimed in his head.

“Have a seat” Matthew extended his palms towards two couches at the corner. With that he left Xavier alone.

After a minute, he returned, climbing up with great dexterity, a tray in hand and a glass of water balanced on it, he set the glass on the coffee table in front of Xavier and smiled before leaving again.

Xavier has been nothing but awestruck since entering the restaurant. It was beautiful beyond expectations. Everything had its purpose and was meticulously arranged.

Hearing footsteps, Xavier turn his head to his left, looking towards the staircase. A gentleman in chef whites came up. When his face first revealed itself over the last step, Xavier let out a little gasp.

His diamond shaped face, flawless skin and sharp nose.  Medium length hair of dark ash brown covered his forehead and nape. He wore a mixed expression that couldn’t quite be read. His lips neither smiled nor curled, and his eyes; intense, deep, and sexual. Statuesque, he stood slighter taller than Xavier, but had more definition. The cuffs of his sleeve folded back, revealing half of his toned forearm. His black pants fitted well. Xavier’s eyes subconsciously lowered to below his waist. The chef cleared his throat softly, catching Xavier’s attention.

“Good morning” as he moved around the coffee table, taking his seat on the other couch.

“Good morning Chef.”

“I’m Ethan, the Chef-Owner of La Forêt. I understand you are here to interview for the internship position. Thank you for being on time.” He spoke with an undeniable Singaporean accent. Yet, his features suggested otherwise. There was an unmistakeable air of masculinity in his voice. It was clear, silvery and commanding all at once.

“Thank you for granting me the opportunity for an interview Chef” Xavier extended his right hand.

“You were one of the few who sent in an organised resume and cover letter. That is why I selected you.” Ethan shook his hand.

At the first contact of skin, both men, at that very instant, felt something jolt deep within themselves. To Xavier, his grip was both firm yet gentle. The insides of his hands were slightly rough and it felt gallant. To Ethan, his hands were smooth, yet there was undeniable evidence of the experience of chef’s hands still recognizable.

“Nevertheless, thank you”

“Why La Forêt?”

“I have read much about you Chef, about your philosophies on food, and it is in line with what I believe in too. I think food should be honest, as it conveys powerful messages across the palate as the medium. It carries more than just the physical aspect of it. Emotions, identity, memories; they are all part of one whole. I understand that to be able to carry this out, I would require to learn from someone who shares the same philosophies. That is why I chose La Forêt.”

There was a pause. Ethan eyes met with Xavier, his expression still unreadable. What was probably a few seconds felt like minutes. Xavier could feel the tension but could not quite put his finger on it. He had yet to understand what he was feeling. But at this moment where both eyes met with each other, something stirred within him.

Ethan’s eyes were beautiful. It would not be right to simply describe it as brown. It was a spectrum of different shades of gold and brown. The foundation was a blend of chestnut, caramel, and walnut, highlighted with streaks of gold, honey and champagne; alluring, intense, profound and unexpectedly sensual. It was in perfect complement to the colour of his hair.  Xavier’s heart hastens its pace, and his cheeks flushed a little.

He had never had a relationship with anyone to date without ever considering why. He had always thought, perhaps, it was because he focused heavily on his education and improving his cooking. But something was different now. Someone caught his attention; subconsciously.

Ethan let out a little laugh and his lips held a slight grin for a moment.

“You hold me in such high esteem.” His expressions reverted back to the way it was. “How old are you?”

“I’m 18. Out of curiosity Chef, how old are you?”

“I’m 24, turning 25.”

“Damn, he’s just 24 and already commanding a restaurant.” Xavier thought to himself.

“Working at La Forêt and especially working with me will not be something easy to adapt to. My current team are personally selected. They have been working with me for many years before and so we understand each other well enough. The dynamics of the entire staff are based on a strong foundation and this intern position that I’m opening up will be the first staff to come from outside the family, so to speak.”

“I have read about this through your interviews with journalists, Chef. I cannot presume to know how difficult the road will be should I join your team, but I know for sure that I chose this restaurant because of you, the mastermind behind the food that critics claim to speak to the soul.”

Xavier took a pause den continued, “I want to experience and discover this for myself. How you do it. How are you capable of achieving a feat that took many world-acclaimed chefs decades to accomplish? I too believe that food is like a language. It speaks the only the truth and delivers more than just sustenance.”

Yet another pause, the tension between the two grew even heavier.

Ethan broke the silence, “To me, in terms of the priority of hiring factors, I place educational backgrounds and prior achievements as secondary. I choose to be the judge of your knowledge and talent myself. However, I hold in higher regard, the reason behind a person’s food and cooking.”

“Do you have anything on for lunch?” Ethan asked after a brief pause.

“No. I don’t have any plans”

“Good. I’ll pass you some papers to fill up. Just some standard info I need for HR” Ethan got up and walked towards one of the computers, gave a few clicks and out came some documents from the printer beside. He glanced at the clock, “Shouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes. Come downstairs after and look for Matthew. I’ll arrange for you to have lunch.”

Xavier had a very confused look at this point in time.

Ethan raised his brows with eyes widened, “You are hired. Stop looking all confused and what not. This lunch isn’t just a treat. It’s work. I want you to experience for yourself, what a meal at La Forêt is like. You can turn down the offer after that if you wish.”

“The other applicants just weren’t what I was looking for. You are my last applicant and I had made up my mind that if you didn’t make the cut, I would not take any interns for now.”

“Thank you Chef.”

“Don’t thank me just yet. Let’s see if you can survive your first week. You have a pen?”

“Yeah I do”

“Great” Ethan placed the papers on the coffee table and gave an explanation of what was required, taking Xavier through the forms.

“I’m heading back to the kitchen. I’ll speak with you again after lunch.”

“Alright Chef.”

Xavier’s eyes kept their focus on Ethan, watching him turn around and heading down the stairs, taking notice of how well Ethan’s behind filled his pants. A little twitch came from between his legs.

Xavier shifted his focus back to the papers in front of him and began filling them out.

“Damn, he is pretty good looking.” Ethan thought to himself as he recalled the moment he met Xavier. Ethan had dated a few girls in the past, but none of those relationships ever worked out. He had an inkling as to why, but looking at Xavier for the first time, a little fuzzy feeling in his chest that he never felt before just made him a little surer.

Ethan shook off these thoughts and made a beeline for Matthew.

“I hired him.” Ethan said as-a-matter-of-factly. “Arrange a seat for him facing both the dining room and the kitchen. Let him experience the full service with wine. Introduce him to the staff as well. I’ll speak with him again after service has ended.”

“That’s wonderful! I’ll be sure to take good care of him.”

With that, Ethan headed back into the kitchen. It was 11.40am; only 20 more minutes to the first guest.

The second chapter
The Maestro of the Woods

__________________________

Xavier left the completed paperwork on the desk as Ethan had told him to and went downstairs. Matthew was speaking with the other 3 staff when he noticed Xavier.

“Ah Xavier, come over here. Everyone, meet Xavier. He will be joining the kitchen team as an intern.”

Matthew gave Xavier a quick introduction to the rest of the team. Alexander, Alex for short, was the sommelier. Oliver and Amelia are the wait staff. He then led Xavier to his seat.

“So, Chef has arranged the best seat for you. At La Forêt, the menu is decided by the chef, similar to the Omakase concept of Japan. He will speak with you after service has ended. Enjoy yourself.” Matthew offered ever so politely.

With that, guest began to enter the restaurant at well-paced intervals. Xavier was offered a glass of champagne and lunch began.

“The amuse bouche, jasmine perfumed carrots in a ginger-orange infusion.” Matthew explained while he placed a small but delicately plated dish in front of Xavier. The carrots of orange, purple, yellow and white were sliced to resemble petals, arranged like a flower on a cloud of cream coloured foam.

On the first bite, Xavier was instantly taken on a journey. The natural sweetness of the carrots was accentuated with jasmine, balanced by the use of oranges in the infusion. However, the ginger elevated the entire dish up a notch, providing a slightly contrasting spiciness. It left Xavier mind blown. The textures and flavours of this dish are so well conceived.

“God, this is so good and it isn’t even the first course.” Xavier thought.

As the courses went by, from the fillet of Mebaru fish served with confit tomatoes and jus de poisson, to the dessert of a variation of strawberry textures. The entire meal was unfathomable. This was undeniably an exceptionally well-orchestrated meal. The journey saw the clever understanding of each ingredient and its honest flavours brought out to the best. However, the one thing that Xavier felt at the end of the meal was an emotional contentment. There was a mixture of peace, nostalgia, boldness, and compassion, all expressed through Ethan’s cooking.

During the entire duration of the meal, Xavier of course, could not keep his eyes off Ethan. He watched him closely, how the small kitchen team of 3 could handle cooking for the entire restaurant. But the more he observed to figure it out, the deeper he got drawn to Ethan. Something about him mesmerized Xavier; perhaps it was his fluid motions and calm demeanour. All this time, Xavier’s heart was racing. The way Ethan wielded his knife; the strong, resolved grip on the handle, accurately guiding it like a baton in the hands of a conductor. He had complete control over everything; all that happened was the result of his influence. Ethan had Xavier unconditionally mesmerized.

Xavier was offered another glass of wine while he waited. By the time the last guest left, he was feeling slightly buzzed. Ethan walked out of the kitchen and towards Xavier.

“Shit. He looks really sexy.” Xavier muttered inaudibly before catching himself and sat upright.

Ethan pulled up a seat across Xavier and looked at him. There was a moment of silence between the two, but it was not an awkward one. To Ethan, Xavier had somehow thrown a loose noose over his heart. Something captivated him.

“You looked like you had a good time” pointing towards Xavier’s almost empty wine glass with a smirk.

“Yes I did. The meal was really amazing and here I am still lost for words. I find it hard to describe the experience I just had. Everything flowed so smoothly into motion. Everything had its intent. And the best of it all, it left me with a sense of satisfaction that reaches far deeper than just the feeding of surface desires. It was…” Xavier paused, flipping through his mental dictionary for it, “for a lack of anything better, enlightening.”

Ethan held the same expression as he did when he first met Xavier. The one that neither smiled nor frowned; it was unreadable. Xavier sat there, wondering what Ethan’s thoughts were.

“Come.” Ethan’s voice reverberated like a command that one could not disobey.

Xavier followed behind. Ethan stepped into the kitchen and got the attention of both the other chefs. The put down their task at hand and looked up.

“Joseph here is my sous chef and Hayley specializes in pastry. Both of them have been working with me for the longest time. We grew up together actually. All three of us spent a great deal of our childhoods working in my parent’s restaurant learning from the both of them.”

This was a first that Xavier has heard of Ethan’s personal life. Throughout all the interviews, Ethan had only mentioned his greatest influence was his parents, but he never mentioned who they were or what they did.

“So he grew up in a family of chefs.” Xavier thought to himself.

“Our working dynamics are pretty much needless for words at this point. However, with the addition of you, things would get pretty rough. Even though I hired you, we shall see how far it goes. It isn’t definite that I’m keeping you. Joseph will handle your training first. After you are ready, I’ll take over from there.”

“Yes Chef.”

“We start preparations at 8 in the morning and you begin your internship next month. Come up with me, let’s get you fitted for a jacket here.” Ethan turned out of the kitchen.

Stopping in front of the rack, Ethan made a quick turn to face Xavier, “You look like a size M” before flipping through the jackets.

“It looks like they have not delivered the laundry yet. Only the small and large are left here. Joseph wears a large and Hayley wears a small. You’ll have to try on mine and see how it fits you.” With that, Ethan began unbuttoning his Chef’s Jacket to Xavier’s widening eyes of disbelief.

At the sight of a bare-chested Ethan, Xavier repressed a gasp and swallowed hard. A lean and well-defined body stared back at him. He felt himself stiffening a little between his legs, a slight flush crept through his face, and he quickly looked towards the floor. Ethan held out his hands with the jacket.

“Try this on.”

Xavier reached out, took the jacket, flipped it over and above and was about to put his arms through the sleeves when Ethan cut in.

“Why are you wearing it over your shirt?”

“Oh” was all Xavier could offer in response.

He slung the jacket over his right shoulder and took one last glance at Ethan to convince himself this was really happening. He pulled the ends of the shirt that was tucked in and began unbuttoning. Ethan stood there silently watching. Something about this was equally turning him on. He felt the heat surge through his body and his loins. A boyish looking guy, handsome features, and he is actually taking his shirt off in front of him.

As Xavier buttoned the jacket over, his eye caught Ethan’s lower body. The slight peek of the waistband of his underwear above Ethan’s pants, the way it clinged onto his body, lifting the front of his pants leaves so much to the imagination with that bulge. Xavier could really feel his blood coursing through.

Ethan walked over, gave a few tugs to the jacket all over, and satisfied with it, he said “Yeah. This looks like a good fit for you”.

Xavier took off the jacket and was about to put his shirt back on when Ethan unrolled a measuring tape and took a step towards Xavier. He reached behind him and pulled the tape around his waist. Xavier, this time, was frozen in motion. Having Ethan standing so close to him, he did not know how to react. His loins strained and screamed in his pants, forming an obvious shape, snaking down the left side of his leg. Ethan was enjoying this process of teasing Xavier, even if he did not show it. As he took the measurement, his fingers grazed pass skin and he saw the slightest twitch in the front.

“Alright. Size 30 would be good.” Ethan said as he withdrawn himself. He took his jacket back and put it back on, straightening it back out.

He gave Xavier some time to gain his composure back, sure enough that he would need it. Looking through the paperwork that he left on his desk, Ethan noticed that Xavier lived quite a distant from the restaurant.

“Pasir Ris?”

“Huh?” Xavier turned around midway while tucking his shirt back down the front of his pants before understanding the question. “Oh yes. I live in Pasir Ris.”

“That’s pretty far. You do know that working here requires a lot of dedication and hours right?”

“Yes I do. But there isn’t much I can change about that. Weighing out rental to transport costs, I’d rather just spend the extra time each day commuting.”

“We shall see after your first week.” Ethan stifled a laugh. “Well then. I have to go back to continue preparing for dinner. We will see you next month.”

“Yes Chef. Thank you once again for your time.”

Ethan escorted Xavier back down to the main doors, shook his hand once more and Xavier left. A tiniest of hollow formed within him at this moment.

Xavier left the restaurant with his heart and mind racing.

“I just got hired didn’t I”
“I’m gonna begin my internship next month.”
“Unbelievable”
“Incomprehensible… that meal was”

His thoughts were running wild and loose, disbelief swirled amongst elation and excitement in a whirlpool of emotional torrent.

On his way back home, the image of the half-naked Ethan was burned strongly to the back of his mind. Xavier was constantly replaying the moment where Ethan took off his chef’s jacket. His body, the lines that defined his muscles; how everything fell into place in perfection. The peek through of the waistband of his underwear; oh how that had driven Xavier insane, wanting to reach out and caress the handsome man that had stood in front of him. All this time, Xavier’s member was pulsating and full. It was begging for release; twitching with every playback.

Ethan was truly a commander. He had complete control over Xavier the whole time. Each of his action well-choreographed with the expected response in return, Xavier was unknowingly playing into Ethan’s hands. A brilliant conductor he is. A Maestro.

Upon reaching home, Xavier marched straight into in room and locked his door, threw down his bag. His right hand went straight to rubbing his crotch through his pants. His fingers traced his tool, wrapping them over, and tugging it down. His body flushed with cascading flames. His left pulled his shirt out from his pants and unbuttoned them, running his palm over his body, cupping them over his chest, gliding down and caressing his abdomen. His right hand grabbed the entirety of his bulging package, squeezing them, and letting out a deep moan.

His imagination ran wild, picturing his own as Ethan’s hands over his own groin. He undid his belt and pulled his fly down, peeling them halfway down. Sitting over the edge of his bed, he let them drop to his ankles. A very large wet spot formed where the head of his cock strained against his white Calvin Klein briefs, turning them slightly translucent; the colour of his member visible through the fabric. Xavier’s fingers ran down, along the curve of his bulge, letting his forefinger circle over the soaking wet area. He pinched a large drop of the clear dew from the tip where it strained out against, brought it to his lips and extended his tongue.

Placing both fingers on the tip of his tongue, he closed his lips over them, suckling the sweetness of the clear droplet. The hint of salinity exciting his mind, he wanted more. He let his hands reach in from above, through the waistband, his fingertips making contact with the bare skin of his pubic region and his cock. Pulling down his underwear slowly, the waistband barely holding it in, Xavier savoured that brief moment of intensity where the tip of the head struggled for release. In one swift motion, he pulled it down letting his cock spring forth, hitting his abs with a dull thud; an electrifying sensation coursed from his cock, all the way up his body and down to his fingertips.

“uhhh..” a moan of ecstasy drifted from his lips.

Xavier’s fingers wrapped around the warmth between his legs, sliding them downward, and allowing his foreskin to slide back down his head. The smooth skin and faint ridges of veins that run along Xavier’s cock was all too prominent; his senses were heightened now. An upward stroke and a single large sparkling droplet formed at the tip. He rolled his right palm over his head, lubricating himself with his slick fluid, and gave it a gentle squeeze and began rubbing it, sending shivers throughout him. Slowly, his grip shifted, stroking his cock. Building a rhythmic pace, Xavier’s thoughts focused on the image of Ethan once again.

The sight of his skin, the bulge that teased the wild imagination of Xavier’s mind, the feeling of his hands; it was all contributing to the escalating sensation forming at the base of Xavier’s cock. His left hand cupped his balls, rolling them gently in his fingers, teasing himself with occasional squeezes and tugs. Sliding his left forefinger and middle finger lower, letting the tips linger around the quivering pucker. He pressed them against his crevice, feeling it contract as his own touch. There was resistance, yet a dull satisfaction presented itself with the pressure he exerted.

“uhhhh… Ethan…” the name rolled out with a gentle rumble deep within his throat.

His strokes picked up in speed and his balls drew taut and close; he was getting close. The final moment came when he recalled it. The way Ethan’s voice sounded. Melodious, crisp, yet powerful and commanding; the moment Ethan said “Come”.

“Arghs” Xavier moaned in a higher pitch at the point of no return.

The muscles contracted and his body stiffened, back arched, eyes squeezed shut and head thrown back, Xavier erupted. His first ejaculation shot over his head, hitting the wall behind with some landing on his hair. His second shot went right into Xavier’s face, splashing onto the right lens of his glasses, dripping down. His third shot flew right into his parted lips. The next couple of shots streaked across his body and the remaining dribbled down his cock. The orgasm this time was powerful, like nothing compared to all the other times he had masturbated.

Xavier remained as he was with his eyes closed. He was spent. His cum that dripped down the side of his face, the salty taste in his mouth with a faint bitterness and astringency as it coated his tongue; his cock gradually going limp in his grip. He swallowed and opened his eyes.

“Damn… that was something” he thought.

He raised his head and looked down at his own mess. The creamy white load painted his body as if someone flicked a paintbrush across. His right hand was soaked in his cum, still gripping his now flaccid cock. Xavier got up and grabbed a box of tissues and began to wipe himself up.

This was the first time Xavier had fantasized about a guy while masturbating and it turned him on so much. Something felt a little confusing, but yet so right. He was generally opened minded about the nature of sexuality but he had never questioned his own; at least not until meeting Ethan.

I love your writing. Classy, and you built up the tension instead of jumping straight into it like all the other cheap stories. Can't wait to see what's coming next.

Thank you ! Well I wanted to go for this approach of building up to it, having an appreciation of the details besides just a short-lived and roadrunner focus on the sexual parts. But that's not to say those shorter stories by other writers aren't good ;) It still took decent effort to write them too! :D Ultimately it's preference :/

Yes, you are right of course. Everything has its unique value. Wasn't very careful with my words and I apologise for that, especially since I'm not a writer myself.

Is this story going to delve into the relationship between these two guys or will it be chapters and chapters of tension-building and sex (like that basketball guy story)? Not expecting a Pulitzer-quality story (invest that effort into a book instead) but something different would be refreshing.

In any case good job so far OP!  :)

Hoping it'll have a happy ending... then again what are the odds? :'/

Thank you ! My direction for this story intends to write about their developing relationship and this does include tension building and sex of course. I want it to have a balance of both. In any case, I am no where near talented enough to produce Pulitzer quality. My writing style is too a little too rough around the edges to organise the content better. Ultimately though, I just enjoy writing this story as means of escapism in a way :/

I do apologise in advance if sometimes the next chapters takes a little while longer to write. I work 7 days a week so I do have only a few hours each day to write and I juggle this and playing games to relax myself (needa de-stress in some other ways too). Seek everyone’s understanding! :)

The fourth chapter
The Kindle of the Night

_______________________________

Xavier felt like his heart could beat right out of his chest right there and then. He was tense, so very tense. There was fear and apprehension, lust and desire, confusion and hesitation. Xavier was looking right into Ethan’s eyes, losing himself in the darkness amidst the golden streaks with each passing second; the beauty of the array of colours he could now witness up close. He felt the vastness of unspoken thoughts being conveyed; he knew he could trust and feel safe. And with that, passion took over both their minds and bodies.

Xavier parted his lips and Ethan’s tongue met with his. Xavier’s left hand pressed down on Ethan’s chest, his right cupping the nape of his neck, their tongues fighting for dominance in each other’s domain. Ethan let his hand move slowly from the back of Xavier’s head, down his back; his skin felt so hot and smooth. The heat of the moment radiated between both their bodies.

Xavier moved his legs over to both sides of Ethan and straddled him on the couch, pushing down on his stiff member with a pleasing gruff moan escaping Ethan’s lips. Soon enough, the burning pain of breathlessness was too much to bear and they both tore themselves apart. Panting heavily, they both continued to gaze into each other’s eyes. Dense sexual tension grew once again, perfuming the space around them.

Xavier, unsure of what to do next, bit his lower lip and ran his right hand down along Ethan’s neck to his chest. His palms gently brushed along his torso, ending at his waist. He slid his hand underneath Ethan’s chef’s jacket and made contact. An electrifying sensation coursed through him, the boyish playfulness, knowing he had managed to touch Ethan for the first time. The definition of his body turned Xavier on so much that he twitched beneath the only fabric holding him together. Ethan felt that and his desire for Xavier grew beyond any shred of his rational control. He wanted him. He needed him right now.

Ethan pushed himself up, throwing Xavier on his back, and pounced on his chest. His tongue flicked across Xavier’s left nipple sending shivers right down his spine, his left hand grabbed his chest, using his thumb and forefinger to pinch and flick his right nipple. Ethan’s right hand caressed the side of Xavier’s body, gliding inches by inches down towards the waistband. His fingers pushed between couch and cloth to gain access, attaining the goal of Xavier’s ass in his palm. He gave it a gentle squeeze to the moaning delight of Xavier.

He then let his palm run up and rested it for a moment on his hip, letting the edge of his palm press into Xavier’s groin teasingly. Xavier could feel the warmth of Ethan’s hands and knowing how close it was to him, it was driving his senses mad. He wanted it more than anything right now but he knew from Ethan’s eyes that he had no control here. Ethan lifted his body and took a good look at Xavier once again. He could see how much Xavier was straining to be released. His length pointing downwards and rock solid underneath the white fabric; he moved his hand ever so slowly till it barely made contact at the base of Xavier’s stiff member.

Ethan’s eyes shifted back and forth, watching his facial expressions and his desire between Xavier’s legs. His fingertips ran down the entire length of Xavier, ending right at the tip; the dampness of the cloth was obvious to the touch. Rotating his hands, he lowered his fingers to cup Xavier’s balls and let his thumb press on his glans, rubbing it across. This made Xavier moan and squirm with the overwhelming feeling.

Unable to restrain himself any further, Ethan hooked both his thumbs under the waistband of Xavier’s underwear, pulling in down in one motion; Xavier’s cock flipped up and hit against his body with a dull thud. A sharp gasp was all he could muster. Ethan tossed the underwear behind him and his hand cupped Xavier’s balls once again, his other wrapping around the shaft. It felt so warm, the gentle ridges of a few veins that snaked around. He stroked him and pulled back down, allowing Xavier’s foreskin to glide pass the head, coaxing a large droplet of crystal dew. Using his thumb, he took the droplet and slid it across. Xavier threw his head back, stuffing his hand in between his lips muffling a scream of pleasure.

“You are really cute” Ethan’s first words

Without giving a chance to respond, he began to pump on Xavier’s cock. Rotating his palm along the length and varying the strength of his grip, his thumb playfully flicked across the frenulum. Rolling his balls in his palm, Ethan gave a few gentle tugs and squeezes. Before long, Xavier’s body began to tense up and straighten. Ethan knew what was about to happen but continued his relentless stroking. His pace became a little faster and with the natural lubrication of Xavier’s pre-cum, the sensation was building up rapidly.

His balls drew taught and Xavier could only whimper between his ragged pants as warning “Ethan … Ethan …” before his scream of ecstasy let loose from deep within him.

Xavier clenched his fists and bucked his hips, his legs extended out and his eyes rolled back. His first shot, powerful, went high and landed right onto his own face on his glasses, the second followed suit landing on his lips, the third on his chin, dribbling down onto his neck, and the next few shots went across his chest and abs, finally dribbling down his cock and over Ethan’s hands. Ethan could feel the strong pulsating cock shooting its white reward and was left wide-eyed at the sheer amount. As his vision regained focus, he looked down and was left equally astonished and the quantity. His chest and abs had so much cum it had pooled in the ridges of his body and navel region and was beginning to dribble down the sides of his torso.

“Oh my god” Xavier exclaimed.

“Oh my god indeed. That was quite the load. How many days have you held this one” Ethan laughed.

He gently laid Xavier’s cock down and quickly got up to fetch a nearby box of tissues to clean up before the mess landed on the couch.

“A week” Xavier sheepishly replied

“That was actually rhetoric, but thank you for the info” Ethan continued to laugh at Xavier’s blushing face

As Ethan sat back down after disposing of the tissues, Xavier realised that he was still fully clothed. He wanted to reciprocate what Ethan had done for him and reached out to grab Ethan’s bulge through his pants with a playful gleam in his eyes. But before his hands made contact, Ethan stopped him.

“Let’s save this for another time, you are too tired” Ethan said as his hands held Xavier’s.

“Oh…” Xavier couldn’t keep his disappointment from showing. He wanted so badly to feel what lay beneath the fabric of his black pants.

Ethan looked at Xavier, gently gripped on them and leaned in closer, “It’s late, you want to sleep over at my place? We could grab lunch tomorrow and I’ll send you back home after that”.

Xavier raised his head, his mind considering the proposal Ethan just made. He did not quite understand what was going on just yet; everything felt like it happened so quickly. His heart was fluttering simply thinking about the possibility of spending a night at Ethan’s. Yet he is questioning his own feelings towards Ethan. Xavier’s lips parted, wanting to respond but not knowing what exactly he should say.

Ethan could sense what Xavier was going through. “You don’t have to force yourself to put the pieces together right now. Trust what your heart wants. The puzzle will complete itself with time, whatever the picture may be.”

Xavier looked up to a smiling face. It looked almost as if it shone in the office; the warmth of sincerity emanated from his whole. He nodded.

“Does that mean we have a date for tomorrow?” Ethan asked to confirm.

 “Yeah” Xavier smiled and blushed.

“Well… you should put on some clothes before the sun rises” Ethan got up and ruffled Xavier’s hair with his left hand.

“Oh… Right…” as Xavier looked down at his own nakedness.

He reached around and picked his clothes up and started to put them on when he noticed out of the corner of his eyes, Ethan taking off his jacket. This time round, instead of stealing glances, Xavier found himself looking directly at him. As Ethan unzipped and pull his pants down, Xavier’s eyes widened as he saw the protruding bulge bound by the grey Calvin Klein trunks. His cock was still hard and it snaked down his left thigh; Ethan was craving some release too.

Ethan knew Xavier was looking, but he didn’t want to push things to go too fast. He could tell Xavier was still a little confused and he wanted to give him time to reassure his own feelings. He quickly put on his shorts, threw on his t-shirt and grabbed his keys. Xavier got the cue and hurried along, following Ethan down and out to the car.

Rather than heading straight for the driver’s side, Ethan made a beeline for the passenger’s door. He unlocked the car and held it open, looking at the one who has been making his heart race. The way his glasses complemented his boyish face, his lean athletic frame, everything about him; the pulsing warmth pumped right from his heart, spreading through his veins right to his fingertips.

“Thanks” Xavier couldn’t help himself but smile. A simple gesture but something about it had him embraced in happiness.

The fifth chapter
Spellbound

_______________________________

It was a short 10 minute drive where both men enjoyed each other’s company in silence; taking in everything through their senses. Ethan soon pulled the car into the parking lot and led Xavier into the elevator, hitting the button for the highest floor of that building. As soon as the doors open, Xavier was a little taken aback. There was only one unit on that floor; Ethan gracefully walked towards the door and keyed in the passcode to the digital lock.  He held it open with one hand and signalled for Xavier to enter with a head tilt.

Upon stepping in, Xavier’s olfactory was overwhelmed; just like the car, the entire space within the apartment permeated with the intoxicating allure of Ethan’s scent. Taking upon a minimalistic approach, the furnishing around was all but the bare necessity, immaculately arranged. Leading him in, Ethan gave a quick tour around the place.

“My dad left this place for me when he moved back to France.”

“Everything is really neat and spacious.”

“Thanks. Well there’s a garden on the second level where I grow some herbs. I’ll show you around when it’s bright out instead.”

“Second level?”

“Yeah the stairs are right here. Come it’s late, we should take a shower and turn in for the night.”

Being too caught up in the moment when Xavier agreed, he realised he was not prepared for a stayover “Oh … I forgot I don’t have any change of clothes.”

“You only realised that now?” Ethan let out a light chuckle “I have spare clothes and a toothbrush for you.”

Ethan brought Xavier into the bedroom, pulled out a pair of cotton shorts, t-shirt and a towel from the wardrobe and handed them over to him. “Go take your bath first.”

“Alright,” Xavier replied as he dropped his backpack down and made his way to the en-suite bathroom.

“Oh and pass me your clothes, I’ll put them in the washer first,” Ethan leaned against the door of the bathroom watching Xavier.

Xavier realising Ethan was waiting for him, blushed and turned around. He quickly took off his t-shirt and shorts, hesitating before dropping his underwear, all while Ethan was watching from behind. Xavier bunched up his clothes and passed them to Ethan.

“Be back with your toothbrush,” and with that, Ethan left, closing the door after himself.

Xavier stepped into the shower, separated by a lone frosted glass, turned on the tap and let the warm water flow down his body. Like rain, the tension of the day was drawn away with each flowing droplet. As he finished his bath, Xavier made his way around the glass and saw a brand new pack of toothbrush on the sink. He dried himself off, brushed his teeth and put on Ethan’s shorts and t-shirt and made his way out.

Ethan was seated at his desk at the corner of the room using his computer. He wheeled his chair around when Xavier left the bathroom. “Make yourself comfortable, I’ll be quick.”

With that, Ethan hopped in the bathroom and Xavier was left alone in his room. His eyes took a slow deliberate look around the room as he towel dried his hair; there was a sense of homely comfort that hung around the air. Xavier picked up his phone and shuffled over towards the bed; the lush, handsome and thick woollen carpet lovingly brushed against his feet. He took a seat over the edge of the bed, sinking into the soft plume comforter. Fiddling with his phone, Xavier laid back and was mindlessly scrolling through his Instagram feeds when he gave a yawn. The weary of the working day took its toll as his body found relief against the plush bed; before long his consciousness began to drift.

Stepping out of the bathroom, Ethan found himself looking at a very peaceful Xavier. With his towel slung over his shoulders, he took his place beside Xavier, looking down at his sleeping form; Ethan could not help but to smile. He reached out his right hand, allowing his fingers to brush against Xavier’s left cheek, his thumb caressing the soft and smooth skin. Leaning forward, Ethan lowered his head slowly but surely, hesitating just as he hovered above Xavier’s; taking another look at his serene face, he gently pressed against Xavier’s delicate lips with his own.

Xavier stirred in his sleep and gradually opened his eyes to find himself staring straight into a very familiar golden chestnut abyss. As they both held their gaze, realisation soon set in and Xavier’s heart began to flutter. Ethan pulled himself back from a faint blushing face with lips slightly parted.

“Hey handsome.”

“Oh, sorry I dozed off,” the way Ethan called him lingered at the back of his mind.

“Nothing to be sorry about, it’s late, let’s get some sleep,” Ethan smiled and gently nudged Xavier on to the bed.

Too tired to even argue, Xavier nodded and rolled himself over the bed and slipped under the comforter. Ethan switched off the lights leaving just the bedside lamp on, giving the room a warm yellow glow; he gracefully strode over to the other side of the bed taking his place. Xavier turned his head, facing Ethan, biting on his lower lip; as if awaiting validation to resign for the night.

“Goodnight Xav,” Ethan whispered, letting a gentle smile cross his lips, before reaching over and planting them right in the middle of Xavier’s forehead.

“Goodnight Ethan” Xavier, with a new shade of blissful red on his cheeks, smiled so beautifully in response.

As Xavier took off his glasses, placing them on the bedside table, Ethan leaned over and extinguished the last of the lights, plunging the room into a calm and silent darkness. Under the covers, Ethan turned, and wrapped his hands around Xavier, pulling him towards his own body; laying the last kiss of the night on the nape of his neck. The sheer warmth of Ethan’s body, married with the affectionate comfort of security, washed over Xavier drawing away the final stream of his consciousness. Ethan too, soon succumbed to the moment and drifted into tranquil slumber.

A myriad of pleasant dreams graced Xavier’s sleep that very night. As the light of day snuck its way through his eyelids, Xavier shifted and reluctantly blinked away his weariness. Letting his eyes adjust to his surroundings, awareness set in when a blurry face came into his vision. Still tucked snugly under the covers, Xavier remembered that he wasn’t in his own bed; that Ethan’s face was a mere few inches away.

He quickly retrieved his glasses allowing himself a perfect view of the peacefully sleeping Ethan; his face, lit by the sunlight, shone almost angelically. It was simply a euphoric moment for Xavier, who continued to stare at the face before him, letting his mind wander with the passing time. It was some time that passed before Ethan began to stir. He gradually opened his eyes while stretching, only to find Xavier gazing upon him.

“How long have you been awake?”

“No idea.”

“Why didn’t you wake me up?” Ethan reached over and picked his phone up. 10.44am.

“Come let’s wash up,” Ethan flipped the covers and swung his body out of bed.

Xavier pushed himself to an upright position on the bed and was about to get off when he saw the slightly tented front of Ethan’s shorts as he walked into the bathroom; Xavier couldn’t help but stiffen up at the sight. Ethan’s head popped out of the bathroom no sooner than a few seconds after disappearing into it, wearing a quizzical expression.

“Coming?”

“Oh yeah,” was all Xavier could muster. He quickly strode over to the bathroom and pushed the doors open.

Xavier’s jaw hit the ground as soon as Ethan came into view; there he stood brushing his teeth in all his perfect glory. The very first time Xavier has seen him naked. Ethan poised himself over the counter, resting his weight on his left arm, leaning over the sink. Xavier traced his body all over with his eyes before landing square in his nether region. There it lay, slightly pointed out at an angle with the obvious nature of morning wood; a decent sizable pair hung low beneath. Like himself, Ethan was smooth around; his foreskin drawn back slightly over the pink glans, bouncing ever so lightly to the rhythm of his movements. Involuntarily, Xavier’s own member was growing even further as he gazes fixedly; his eyes reflected a vacancy, lost in his own mind at that very moment.

Ethan had noticed Xavier going quiet and shifted his attention to the corner of his eyes. He cleared his throat with a muffled grunt, pulling Xavier back into reality as colour crept onto his face shading it cherry red. Avoiding eye contact, he took his place beside Ethan and wet his toothbrush, applying toothpaste; he began brushing his teeth as Ethan washed up and headed into the showers.

“Join me when you are done,” Ethan smiled.

His voice was followed soon after by the sound of the running shower. A therapeutic symphony for the mind and soul as the flowing water hit the slate tiled floor, reverberating throughout the walls of the enclosed space. Ethan’s figure, a skin-toned silhouette against the frosted glass, constantly tugged on Xavier’s attention; like a child obsessed with the candy in the jar. Xavier turned to face the sink and quickly rinsed his mouth, before taking off his shorts and t-shirt. He paused, standing by the side of the glass wall for a quick second, looking at the toned body poised under the pour; Xavier then took his place beside Ethan lightly touching him on his shoulder to signal his presence.

Pivoting on his left foot, Ethan swivelled around, wearing a straight, unreadable expression. The mere distance between the both of them, the very idea that crossed his mind like a feather breaking ripples into stagnant waters; toying, teasing and tormenting him all at the same time. Restraint; something Ethan fought hard to grasp onto. He reached out with both hands and pulled a naked Xavier into an embrace. Chest to chest, Xavier could feel a warm length pressed into his own between his legs. He reciprocated the hug; wrapping his hands around Ethan’s waist and locking his fingers, letting his head hang across his right shoulder.

Pulling away, Ethan took Xavier by his hands and led him under the waters. Both men, who were now sporting erections, began to shampoo and soap up their bodies. Ethan was the first to rinse off and leaning against the wall watching Xavier follow suit; his hard-on beckoning for Ethan’s attention. Willing himself with utmost determination, he peeled himself away but not before extended his right hand, grabbing hold onto Xavier’s cock giving a gentle squeeze; a quick motion of pulling his foreskin over and back down, rubbing his palm over the head before letting it go. All this while Xavier’s head was under the running water and the best he could do was to give a whimper and shuddered at Ethan’s touch. By the time Xavier opened his eyes, Ethan had his towel wrapped around his waist as he proceeded out to the bedroom. Turning off the taps, Xavier quickly joined Ethan in bedroom in similar fashion.

There he found Ethan pulling out a pair of boxer briefs, standing nude; a playful thought crossed his mind. He strode over in a few rapid steps taking Ethan by surprise, who only managed to barely look up in time before Xavier wrapped his hand on Ethan’s still stiff cock and pushed him onto the bed. It was the first time Xavier touched a cock other than his own. It felt so warm and stiff, the skin along the length felt so smooth on his palms compared to his own. His breathing shallow and brisk, once again the spellbound round palette of golden and brown hues stared right back at him; both in awe and in shock at Xavier’s sudden audacity.

The beating of their hearts, audible amidst the silence apart from their breathing; Xavier’s eyes lowered their focus to the luscious and pink supple lips. He leaned forward, stealing a kiss, taking advantage of that momentary confusion. As he lifted himself away, Xavier’s hand increased the pressure of his grip while pulling down Ethan’s foreskin, running his thumb over the head; he felt it, the slick and thin coating that let him glide across.

“urrrhhhhh,” Ethan moaned, a jolt of current shot up from the tip of his cock, sending shivers throughout his body.

Xavier gave the widest, most mischievous grin and said “that’s payback for before.”
