anyone visited (many of u earning so much based on that thread) such barbers' shop(also avail in facial/waxing shop too)  is sprouting everywhere! easily an OUE downtown has 2

U guys visited any? how was it?? hairstylist shop of course for me, but not so much of facial hair services (hairstyle shop has to be at least S$25 to begin with, not those what K cuts and i have straight friends telling me that they are able to source for S$8 in sg , oh dear! we are not goin to bring in )

spending  a HKD 500+ is nothing esp based on how much u earned - his wife scolded him, but from the comments on facebook, supporters are more!

and women do a pedi/manicure plus hair is way more than that already

i think the video is NOT to show off his wealth, dont be mistaken

the point is stressed several time in his video: ie purely a men's world that only men get to do it (all the staff in it are male-nt suggesting u to do hankypanky of cos!)

In jp, dept stores that totally sell men's stuff is not uncommon

from flowers to clothings, everything is men's dept

Sadly it is still a long way for sg, even for straight men''s waxing shop, most of the time is female doing it

who carry such man clutch for putting laptop too? not sure why virile? (doesnt need to be designers' labels)

Side story : from what a man carries, it said so muchhhh abt him

a flex ONCE told me that when he wanna top a btm one day, the btm qn has he "prepared" those stuff (i instantly guessed the btm is askin him whether he got the stuff for protetion)

flex took a long time to guess it meant protection!? he qn why shd he be spending on such items and not the btm's role?

He felt sored abt the purchase even as a flex

So sorry, according to the video, one shd always get prepared , i too carry them around , it is abt how much u believed in safe sex (how heavy is to lug a pack of lube or condom around?

no1 feeling sore spending S$100 over on a gym membership, but felt sore about a Condom! Not gentlemen

Colour guide:

how many % of your wardrobe will have these colours?

e.g. blue (a common colour for men)

white too (a must) - esp linking to underwear for men

Pink/Red- a small percentage (but the samples he  shown is more of a pink w other colours, not totally pink or as an accessory)

for those who wanna support only-sg designs?
visit:
Shopdesignorchard -After Party. (i dont work here of cos)

Offers:  they have scents of Sg (diffuser) something diff during this CNY for your guests? all of u been complaining that all the retails in sg r so similar , finally somethign diff

@kidster U tried Rossi? v gd service: eg my first very old collared tailor shirt with them, it was torn abit (not sure at the collars or sleeves area) so i went back and they will re-do with me, if they cannot find back the exact pc, they will find something similar and redo at a cheap price  (so i do not have to throw away a beautifully tailored shirt just cos it is old!! It is so lasting)

i didnt like CYC (totally not happie when i stepped in , not just once and i did make purchase) or factory-like Ethan men ( i do not judge just based on a 1-off incidents)

Yes, same for me, i dont even need to go Korea or jp

i got a gatsby pomade (in sg itself) and my room is always on with aircon most of the time, unless i m out
- it melt and i m not even half tub done!!! (1 cheap method is to put it in your fridge again and it will return to the solid state again)
(same experience shared  on the gatsby pomoade youtube too - which is why i attached for your viewing , u hve to click on the other videos related too)
I was so surprised why other males have no similar experience in BW, and my room is not even sun-facing (a forum has to be value-adding, not sharing other non-essential)

my 2 cents worth will be stop gettin from korean brand! they r more into scent/fragrance , rather than true quality (maybe hairgel/pomade not much of an impact) , professionals into such products have been comparing jp products v korean beauty products, they told me that

Ys,
Uber suave seemed very popular cos everytime i passed by those vending machines, i will take stocks that which became "zero" or near to empty....but not cheap for those items in the machine

Speaking of pomade, I bought a tub from Innisfree Free in South Korea during autumn/winter and thought it was really cheap and good. Used it straight away after purchase as mine ran out; strong hold and adequate shine and pleasant scent.

When I open the tub back in Singapore the whole pomade turned gooey and liquid unlike the solid state back in Korea! Really disappointed and naturally the hold is not as strong in SG’s weather.

Any bros who have used Uber Suave, American Crew or Imperial can give their $0.02?

Strapless pants=  ghurka? https://putthison.com/ghurka-trousers-the-older-i-get-the-more-ive/
Ghurka pants/ trousers come from that period of history when the British occupied North Africa and India – a time that left a very uncomfortable political legacy, but seems to be a continual source of style inspiration for books, movies, and clothing. They’re typically high waisted, made from a heavy cotton drill, and characterized by a unique self-belting design. That belted rigging allowed British officers to easily cinch their trousers as they lost weight – an issue I definitely haven’t experienced as I’ve entered my 30s. Still, I find their unique style very appealing.
https://www.jpeterman.com/item/mpt-2363/100100101/gurkha-pants

S$78 for a pants but if this design, i think it is quite fair, isn't it?? (it is rude, no1 ans the qn on its fb posting)

opening 25 March (specials- extended): at 20 Upper Circular Road #01-14, The Riverwalk, Singapore 058416, from 10:30am to 7:30pm.

many men tot that donning a "stylish hairstyle" w some facial hair (means manly) or imitating a Kpop* lookalike specs means fashionable

see how  a 23yo can b transformed

most of such transformatn is to shave it all (btw)

* : Round and big MORE rounder rim as though it is to cover your whole face with it , but your eyes balls r so small it wont need it

I think the barbershop/salon now has a branch in Novena Square 2. The shop deco & design are very similar, if not the same. Small space but innovative. A simple haircut/wash cost $37

the only way NOT to look gayish is :

dont carry too-obvious items on your body as though u r a X'mas tree!
eg i saw a guy with overly-short berms plus a shade on his hair/head n the way he carry a man-bag

so it is obvious
though he is bearded and so much hairy than any of us

ii)

Fashion faux pas: someone matches a red tee w red shoes + an orange berms (i m sure his underwear is also that range)
While a straight is poor in doing colour-coordination or matching of clothing/accessories , they will totally give up doing that, they will never venture into such such a flop! (if not get their wives or gf to do it for them)

Needless a Hongkonger to tell us

a sheer tshirt (like Uniqlo Airsm) is more of an underwear/undershirt , do not mix them up

similarly some plain singlets are designed to wear on the outside , some singlet-looking shirts are really undershirts

Has anyone commented on your clothings??

Luv his perspective! He mentioned calling someone Gay doesnt carry any weight anymore!!

Interesting topic which could be a standalone thread.

Clothes have become more personal. To me,  dressing well and neatly reflects your personality and individual taste. One should wear the clothes and not the other way round.

Definitely, I'm one that values and supports the importance of dressing neatly. And yes, friends and colleagues have commented on my dressing. I do not dismiss their compliments.

oh we have threads on clothings too but no1  been responding to them, sadly

and i realised that sg men do not really pay much details on clothings (many tend to associate u to a gay if u pay to it)
TO make matters worse, if they see a piece of clothing ie not worn in sg, they will deemed u as (i dont even want to use those terminologies) - most of my items are from overseas (hardly shop in Singapore and i dont need a large collection for my closet, i only need quality items of reasonable pricing)

Yes, i have always pick clothes and fashion apparels according to my needs (n i customised my advice for my male colleagues who wanna help in their wardrobe)

some complained why must we go for tailored business shirts?!!  (not all of mine are tailored but for sure there are pcs which are tailored to fit u)
Every male (sizes) are totally different, we are not made from the factory mould

I saw a straight guy (his mobile phone pics are his gf as wall paper) wearing slippers tshirts very casually (nothing wrong) but carrying an LV bag just now - honestly what is so great about LV?
I dont own such items

many in Spore are wearing speedos i assumed ?

Been stop wearing them during vacations, may  i asked does Sg public swimming pools allowed board shorts? Hotels definitely a Yes, but i m not sure of public pools - never used them for so long

Stupid video

TYPICAL American conservatism, I suppose!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with speedos, and tons of guys look wonderful in them

Fashion Of gentlemen is about comfort and comfort

not those packed w beefy muscles as though buttons are bursting!!! Shame on u if u r not raised to dress fine

comfy and natural, not loud and accentuate!

Just to quote an eg, members have plenty to quote i trust:

(although most gays tend to pack w tight shirts)

not a man, still there are learning points:

only evil and wicked people labelled her and do name-callings on humans , wait till u r above 50s and if u can maintain such a shape or lOoks, then u get to comments on someone!!!

I think it comes down to dressing for your body. Age is relative and subjective. You want to dress to put yourself in the best light possible.

I admit, I love carrying tote bags for work versus a messenger or brief case. With totes, I put my laptop, iPad, chargers etc, in it, In addition, it also fit my notepad, pencil case, bottle of water, glasses, and other stuff. Also since I carry it on the handle, it does not wrinkle the suit like a backpack or messenger would with the strap.

Love.
