Dymond
Recently went into an agreement with a company. But later realised that they have breached the contract. Would like to know what are the legal means to crawl back the invested amount? And how much is the legal fees involved? Will appreciate advice from someone who went thru similar experience or have legal knowledge. Can discuss here or PM me for further info. Thanks in advance. Zerosum
It is really difficult to give you a range of legal fees but expect it to be in the thousands at bare minimum. A breach of contract does not necessitates that the contract is now invalid and that you are entitled to a full refund of the invested sum. Usually, legal advice will cost you $400-$600 per hour and an additional $50-$200 per lawyers letter. You will probably need about 1-3 letters before suing them in order. Apart from the hourly legal fees, there are also court fees. If you are lucky, it will cost around $5k-$10k, otherwise...very likely to cost at least $20k-$30k.
