Do not any how use my intentions. I never support Hady, hear his music, acting or whatever. So do not anyhow use 'we are All'. It is your choice if you support him but leave me and my family out of this! I and my family are deeply offended that you chose to represent us without our concent!

The problems is not him, but his past fame that caused him to be in the limelight.  I say fame is evil, think twice before you want to be famous.

Tell that to the condo he and his relatives trashed. He think he is a rock star? Difference is rock stars have money.

His explanation was the food thrown into the pool was by his nephews, not the adults. Children are sometimes hard to control, isn’t it?

He dabbled with soft drugs - marijuana - not hard ones like many in the gay community.

Your judging is not helping anyone leh...

Marijuana, technically is not a drug like X or anything in a pill form. It can be smoked, or mixed with herbal tea or added to food. Think of poppy seeds muffin or anything with poppy seed in it- esp. pastries. It would be similar.

Opium and marijuana come from different plants. Poppy versus hemp, respectively.

Although the amount of opiate in poppy seeds is nefligible - you need to take heaps to get high - it is still banned n singapore. I have seen it sprinkled on a French lemon cake in a patisserie somewhere in bt timah though. Tried it, and the lemon cake was really good in itself. Can't taste what favour the seeds imparted to the pastry though... Guess it was more of a visual garnish... A speckly effect more dainty and whimsical than, say, plain old black sesame seeds that may add a bold sesame taste that wouldn't have had gone as well with the delicate citrusy notes of the lemon cake.

Drugs don’t have to be in pill form to be a “drug”. Caffeine and alcohol are drugs too you know.

Drugs or not, it depends on how the relevant authorities define it.

That is very true. Singapore is very hardline when it comes to drugs. Everything, including poppy seeds, magic mushrooms, LSD, weed, etc., here ARE DRUGS and punishable with jail, caning and death penalty according to drug class, amount and nature of involvement with it.

Well, we have to admit that Hady actually got away really easy with this offense. In singapore you can get 10 years of jail time for marijuana consumption. And not only that, even 20.000 Singapore dollars as a fine. So the Singapore authorities do not joke around with the drug addicts. And in case you consume it, you can get max of 10 years in jail, as i said, but in case you import, traffic of more than 500 gramms, it might result in a death penalty. I live in UK right now, and i consume cbd on a daily basis, and the CBD specialist that helps me, choose the best ones, is actually from Singapore.

He would have gone very far if he is an American and winning America Idol.  Unfortunatey, Mediacorp do not have the budget not the zest to groom him to be a superstar.  On top of which, he has also won the ASEAN singing competition in his early years.  Who could have expect his drove taxi for a living.  That brings us to the greater picture of our local talents were often pushed into the dark, not recognised and left to their own demise eventually.  This is not the type of Singapore I want to see after the 3G leader step down.  Singaporeans talents need to be recognised and allow to flourish. Sucking up the establisment to get the status has to be scrapped and not encouraged because more often than not,  there are not many talents in local drama and yet, they were given so much exposures.

Spore is limited by its size (or lack of) hence the small market.

Segregate the market further into the English and non-English (pre-dominantly Chinese with very small Malay) markets.

The English market is not profitable as most people listens to western pop, what's left for people like Mirza, or even chaps like Taufik?

Fact is, Spore does not have a strong market of local soft power (unlike what you see in Thai, Indon, Msian local pop culture amongst their local pop culture).  Our education system also made us drawn to everything overseas- English and Chinese (Taiwanese) pop culture.

These are signs of a weak local identity -which goes back to what Singapore really is - a cultural desert.

I understand that the use of marijuana is often carried out just for fun or an attempt to get high, but still how about those who need it for medical purposes. I have a marijuana use permit and I track the quality of the product using https://parsl.co. Since I have very severe pain as a consequence of a car accident, marijuana is the only way to make my life a little easier and at least sometimes forget about the pain. Therefore, it is impossible to criticize the use of marijuana so unequivocally. Sometimes it is necessary.

There are many benefits to CBD for medicinal purposes that are still being researched on. One area definitely it has shown effectiveness is in pain management. When my dog was hurt, rather than giving him pain medication that makes him throw up and feeling miserable, I explored using CBD as an alternative, and it worked really well. I sprinkle a few drops in his treats and mixed it in his food, and it helped. I also got a topical version of it for him where i will rub it onto his joints, and he responded well.

Love.
