iamwill
so i guess the answers to my questions are "no", "no" and "no"?well i joined my company's dragon boat team and our team has pple of all shapes and sizes (body i mean ) and there are ladies too. so you dun have to be lean toned muscular to row. for us is more about having fun and getting away from work. as to whether it helps to keep fit, hmmm i not that sure cos i have not lost any weight since i joined hah.. prob cos our training very slack. ys_t
bearhunt
so i guess the answers to my questions are "no", "no" and "no"?Heya,Well I guess not exactly no,no and no. But dragonboating is VERY demanding- say goodbye to your arms for the next two months or so, but the rewards are immense. You'll get to really build upper body strength and develop a crisp nice tan. Of course, if you're really serious about the sport you'll also invest a few hours in the gym during your non-training days for cardio fitness and to round out the rest of your muscles in your chest, shoulders, back and abdomen. Maybe you can try canoeing too? That one requires less people.I firmly believe that no one can say no to you but yourself, so get up, get out and do something! Opinions be damned- they're like assholes anyway, only welcome when needed, so why let others hold you back?bh Quote http://bearhuntingwolf.vox.com/

Imagine u have to paddling from Kallang river platform to marina sand spots and go all the way to merlion and back to plat form (almost 2 hours). So afterward stomach demanding fuel lo.If anyone know morning session and not too demanding as i am not aiming competition, i am keen to join too le Quote Just Ordinary Guy Next Door who is fun fearless and love travelling"

Currently i am gymming with him occasionally which is giving pretty satisfactory results. I may start sometime soon. Its always a lot more fun participating in sports with a whole bunch of like minded people.Ciao for now!
