sum1outhere_03
There are a few theologies wrt rapture and tribulation, which I believe can be based on what your church believes in. Some church in SG from my understanding, believe in #2. Another common believe is, if the world is already starting the tribulation and whether corona virus is part of this tribulation, personally my guess is most church leaders do not agree that it is so; this (diseases and death) is part and passel of this fallen world that we have to go through in human life. (Pls don't wack me if you don't believe in Christianity or if you disagree with my opinion ) (Following illustration is from wikipedia) Quote Will you be my valentine's? Guest Forgiven
1: The Tribulation refers to a period of time where God shows his due wrath against evil/sin in this world. It is the continuation of where Jesus stopped reading midway from Isaiah 61:2, "the day of vengeance of our God". 2: The sins of a Christian have once for all been judged at the cross in the Lord Jesus Christ and perfectly atoned for. The Christian therefore has been forgiven of all sins, never for God to remember them again. (Hebrews 10) 3: Christians are right now the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) (Romans 5:17) 4: God cannot pour his Wrath out again on Christians who are righteous and have their sins already judged. To say that God will continue to punish believers for their sin is to say that the death of Jesus was not sufficient and is an insult to the finished work of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
