Guest "어제처럼" / "Eo Je Cheo Reom"
I only know maybe two dozen K-Pop artists and songs, but I noticed immediately that the first K-Pop song I ever heard is not on the list, "어제처럼" ("Eo Je Cheo Reom" a.k.a. "Like Yesterday") by J (J.ae / 제이 / Chung Jae-Young) which was a huge hit in 2000. Surely all 100 songs on the above list don't sound better. Maybe the exclusion is because the listmakers don't like it that that she grew up in the USA before returning to South Korea to become a music star, or some other nonsense, but it should've been listed. sharimiul
Hi! Yes, I think this is a great list of Korean artists who are now popular worldwide. Although they are very hardworking and disciplined, it is not surprising that they have managed to win the hearts of listeners all over the world. It seems to me that in addition to great music, musicians from Korea also pay great attention to music promotion and a positive image. It allows people to perceive these musicians as something cool and fun, and therefore they want to listen to them repeatedly.
