Thoughts on Penile Implants

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

Have an severe ED for a couple of years, possibly due to nerve damage after a sports injury. ED meds used to work with a cock ring, now have lower efficacy.

Was looking at a few options and it does seem some penile implants are gradually used quite a bit and it's an ever ready option for sex.

Wanted to know if anyone has done it or knows someone who have done it. If any recommendations to a clinic or doctor who specialises in this, would be very grateful.

Consider Caverject. It is a self-administered injection to the dick. It has a relatively high efficacy rate with most guys getting an erection within 5-20 minutes (with stimulation of course) and lasts about an hour. It is a good alternative to ED meds. If your ED is that severe, another injectable option may be TriMix, which is stronger.

Popular gay porn star, Dallas Steele, has been very open about undergoing surgery to achieve erections. Read the interview here

Well, if you are young, and think that you have a good 20 to 30 years plus ahead of an active sexual life, then getting an implant might be worth it.

Nope. No need to yet.

Dallas Steele is the only guy I know who publicly shared about his penile implant. I mean what's great is that you cannot really tell from his performance. Do some homework and research if this is a procedure you are seriously considering.

Unless necessary (eg to save life), natural is always better than artificial… just look at the number of botched plastic surgeries, which destroy lives.

It would be so nice if it were this way!  Natural...  can be horrible.  So many people are born with birth defects!  To correct them can be life saving, but many don't threaten life, they threaten fulfilled life!  Plastic surgery has its good things,  it just should not be abused.

A n inflatable penile prosthesis can be a blessing for a young person with persistent erection disfunction.  But for old folks who want to relive they youth... it's an abuse. ( although if they can pay for it and value it much... why not? )

Those tend to be sensationalized. You don't hear much of the successful cases because you cannot see that they have been under the knife.

For example, if Dallas Steele had kept mum about his surgery, most people wouldn't know that he had a penile implant. Every surgery carries their own risks, so it is important to find a reputable surgeon/doctor who is experienced in the procedure.

Absolutely!  The surgeon should be an urologist who does this kind of implants.  For those who consider their erectile problems very serious, it is good that there are resources.
