mp440028
For that budget, there's also Les Bouchons Rive Gauche at Robertson Quay (French-style steak frittes) with free-flow french fries (which are super yummy), and my fave, Big D's Grill at Blk 46 Holland Drive, Not cheap for an under the block steak shop, but his anchovy butter makes up for the hassle and the price. Also, his spicy crab spaghetti and his anchovy spaghetti are mind-blowing!
cock brand
Go for Aston's Prime on Katong Road, nice quiet place & excellent beef steak. (Abt $30 for a prime thick cut steak). There are 2 Aston very near to each other.Go to the one on Joo Chiat Road, the one on East Coast Rd dont serve prime cuts..Jack's Place prices are reasonable; I normally go for their T-bone or tenderloin, done medium rare for under $30. Ambience also quite suitable for dating.Pay a bit more, you can go to Angus in Ngee Ann SP.If you dun mind to be served by old grouchy waiters, go to Shashlik in Far East SP. Try their Bomb Alaska, its nice.
akated
just a quick aside, if you are at Big D's Grill you must try his sambal buah keluak. Rich and pungent, spicy and perfect with white rice. Yummy!
