Hmmm. Actually, I think a large part of the turn-on of CMNM is from the imbalanced power at play.
CM => empowered and in a position to see all without having to do the same, get to preserve their own privacy and dignity

NM => exposed to the CM, but cannot see the CM in return. Loss of ability to hide what is normally hidden, no privacy

 

When a NM get a hard on for instance, they can't hide it. No one knows if the CM is hard on the other hand.

 

Then there is also the aspect of humiliation. We have been brought up to feel shame about showing our naked bodies to others, so suddenly having to parade naked around in front ofa CM can be very humiliating instintively. This is especially so if the NM is self concious about the size of their body parts.

 

So I think most variations on CMNM seek to emphasis these. For instance, having the NM sit beside the CM and watch a movie or really, do anything normal like sitting at the dining table having a meal etc, can already make the NM uncomfortable in a good way. Playing with the NM bodies in these scenarios further drill in the disparity in power.

For humiliation side, getting the NM to get into an inspection pose while the CM inspects and comments on the body can be a very hot take.
