How To Know Whether He Likes Me Or Not?

I need advice from everyone.

Last time I met a guy for a meal. We had a good conversation, talk about sweet things like until more than 3 hours. It seems that both of us are interested to know each other more. I asked him about his personal, his hobby, what he do during his spare time, his job, his status (single or not, whether he has come out or not), etc. except sex. I dont dare to talk about sex cos I want the relationship to last longer. And he asked the same thing to me.

The next day I called him, just to hear his voice through the phone. Well, we talk randomly. I just asked him anything that cross my mind. At first, we just enjoyed the conversation but then we ran out of topic to talk about.

I then tried to think it again whether he's for me or not. I personally attracted to him at the very first sight but I still don't know what he thinks about me. So, I just keep quiet, never call or sms him for a few days after the call. Then, few days later he sms-ed me. I just replied necessarily cos Im afraid that it will trigger long replies and then disturb him.

Nothing happen for few days after the sms. Not until few days later he sms-ed me again, a "good-night" sms.

So far he put some status on his fb or forum that makes me feel conceited. He's like talking that he miss some one etc etc. I hope he's talking about me, but I atill don't know the truth. Everytime I chat with him through MSN, he just reply by 2-3 sentences.

Everything kinda confusing for me. Anyone can give me a suggestion how to know what he thinks of me? Any suggestion how to approach a guy properly to ask him whether he want to be our bf?

Based on my 30 yrs of gay experience (I m in my 50s), he's probably attached or seeing more than 2 people.

Hmm.. I think that you should keep it going.. Well, there surely will be a lack of topics to talk about as you only just knew this guy but if you try to keep cool and have small talks or conversations, even little sms(s) like how this person is doing and all- even a good night or a good morning will slowly bring down the barrier.. And thus, you being more relaxed and it'll be easier to keep the ball rolling whenever you guys hang out or talk on the phone, etc. You can even try going to the movies, this way, you could still hang out with him and feel his presence and all while reducing the awkwardness of having nothing to talk about.. As of his sms after a few days, I think he might be waiting for your text too.. Well, I think you should maybe ask him out a few times before really approaching him for the question of whether he wants to be your boyfriend.. If you just ask him straight after two meets, unless he is ok with it, you might scare him off or you might give the wrong signals that you might be rushing off to sex and all.. In my opinion, try taking things easier and taking it in your own pace where you are comfortable.. You will feel it when you know its right.. But since you seem to miss him and all, why not start by sending him a text first? Maybe a good morning to start the day? Hope it helps and yup, good luck! Hope to hear your updates too! =)

Well, just text him as and when you want to? But not every hour here-and-there eh.. Just give him some space to breathe too.. See how his replies are.. If it is just short replies or dead replies(as in replies like "ok" .. or "yaya" and thats it) then maybe you might be disturbing him.. If not, just go ahead with when you feel like texting him.. You can even text and ask him straight if whether he felt that you are disturbing him and all in all of your messages etc? Just be comfortable and try approaching him in a casual way perhaps? Sometimes, best things happen when least expected. Really.

If you have to think about how often you should text him, you may have already 'over-texted'

Then go out, have a nice time and ask him if you could see him again on a regular, more intimate basis.

Then you will have both of your feet in the door if he says yes.

My experience is that SMS or whatapps communication might not be able to reflect his actual emotion or message. It also depends how you read it!! The best is to ask him out for a meal or coffee and see how he responses to your invitation! He might feeling the same and you both actually waiting for each other to initiate! Don't afraid of rejection, atleast we tried!

Agree with above! This is the best advice. I would also give the same.

For ages there is some ritual to dating and love that will last for eternity and that one thing is always face-to-face meet up and spending time together. Not even sms, facebook or a phone call will top this.

So, just ask him out! Dinner! A concert! An art exhibition! Anything! Dammit just do it!...

Heard about this method b4. U may like to try it.

About 5 mins to 12 am, light up a candle in front of a mirror. Use a knife to peel a red apple. Make sure it doesnt break. At 12 am, u will be able to see an image in the mirror.

If its him, it means he likes u.
