Anyone have problem falling asleep or have insomnia during this covid period? Recently i always took even much longer to fall asleep, sometimes after falling asleep and would woke up suddenly feeling like anxious. Next day still need to wake up early to go work, ended up even difficult to fall asleep again.

To those who are having (or still having) sleepless nights, don't feel alone.

I am a survivor of insomnia 2 years ago but unfortunately it came back recently. E.g. i will either fall in and out of sleep from 12am to 6am and having to head to work the following day or I just couldn't sleep at all.

The last time it happened 2 years ago, I didn't know what to do but some signs told me it was the job. I resigned and my insomnia went away immediately.

As you age, insomnia somehow feels more unbearable. I am battling it and hopefully those who are going through it as well, please don't feel alone 🙏🏻

Cinderella is a good example of how shoes can change your life

Your insomnia come back now due to you are working now? Since you said your insomnia went away after you resigned 2 years ago?

I also have insomnia on and off.   Sometimes sleep no problem for a period but can come back again after a long period. Until now i still don't know why.

Definitely due to work stress.

I can sleep quite well on Fri and Sat nights.

Cause no need to work on Sat and Sun.

The rest of the nights will have difficulties sleeping, especially Sun night.

Guess I really need to find a new job too.

Agreed, if next day no need to work, i have lower chance of having difficulties sleeping. Even though sometimes i might also have problem sleeping on fri and sat.

I think it is stress or anxiety that give me difficulties sleeping. But i do not know where my stress and anxiety come from.

I have a habit of imagining myself in sex fantasies to get myself to sleep. If I dun do this I will take at least half an hour to fall asleep, unless I’m freaking tired. Anyone here has this same weird  habit before and gotten rid of it?

Mine is I imagine my bf cheated on me and left me.

While I lie in bed alone hugging the bolster. He is out sleeping with another man.

Then when he finished and come back and see me lying there. He thought I'm asleep.

But I'm still awake.

And he will hug me and I can smell the sweet sickly sex smell from him..

And I will hug the bolster tighter urging me to sleep and that everything will be alright

I saved some of the handsome SG politicians photos and jerked off every night until I fell asleep. Fantasising about giving them a BJ and sex with them felt so good.  Very tired though the next morning, but would have a good sleep.

Majority have small and smelly kuku bird.  I suggest you jo in front of a porn movie, then pop in a magnesium supplement, more effective to knock you off instantly.

I just realised that when I face the laptop screen for a prolong period of them, I will suffer from insomnia for that night. That’s probably one of the side effects  from the UV rays emitting from it. So moving on, I will avoid or minimize that in the evening.

I've been taking melatonin this past few days as I can't sleep well due to stress at work

Expand

Does it help?

If you are really stressful and cannot sleep well, maybe you can go see a GP and get some low dosage of anti-depressant med, it should help you to reduce your stress, sleep better and yet not addicted. Cause few months ago i was also very stress at work and i took some anti-depressant and it helps.

For non-prescription, guess will be melatonin.  But end of the day, I guess your solution should be stress management.

Try the calm product. It work for me.

For my case. It must be drink at least an hour or earlier before i go to bed.

I try 1 min before i go to bed. The effect do not kick in so fast.

I do sleep well drinking every night from sunday to thurday because i work from monday to friday.

The only bad thing i feel about the product is. If i do not sleep 8 hours or above after drinking. I will feel very tired during work but my mind still can remember thing very well even though i am tiring.

If i insomia and sleep less without drinking calm product. I will feel tiring at work and i will be forgetful due to lack of sleepiness.

I still remember it happen when i working. I place the production i done on the table. Then my supervisor ask me do i put the instruction inside. I cannot remember. Cause by lack of sleepiness.

It do not happen again after i drink this product for a month. Even i feel tired because i only sleep 6 to 7 hours during work. I still remember what i have done during work.

Usually product i recommanded might work on me and some other peoples but not everyone. I just suggest it. Seem it work on me.

Is not just about how long you sleep but the quality of the sleep. Need to identify what cause the insomnia. For adult normally is stress.
i took some anti-stress supplement and also try to change my environment. Also playing smooth music too. What calm your mind and improve sleeping

Will anti-stress supplement improve your insomnia problem? What anti-stress supplement you bought?

Insomnia usually is cause by stress, anxiety or fear. If any of them strike you, whole night you would not be able to fall asleep.

Practise deep & slow breathing; it helps in reducing stress, brings oxygen to the rest of your body (helps rejuvenate) & sets the tone for getting into sleep. Usually by 10-20 mins, should be asleep.

I tried before, doesn't work for me. If can sleep means can sleep, even nothing is done.

While sleeping if have a lot of dreams, basically you are not really sleep well. People who have a lot of dreams could mean they are stress and think too much.

Did you go and see a doctor to get some medicine to help you?

If only get to sleep 1 hr a day and affecting you going to work is serious. I remember there was one period i also got insomnia on and off for about 2 weeks, always woke up between 2am to 3am and then difficult to fall asleep again, quite torturing as it is affecting my health and work. Esp i need to wake up early next day to go work. Managed to get some med to help sleep on certain days and slowly recovered from it.

Insomnia usually is due to stress and anxiety. Try to calm yourself and relax.
