i dun think there is a further enhancement on the Ace .... but u can try to root it and install the Ice cream by xda developers at your own risk

I believe you are using a Starhub set.

There is a 2.3.6 India Edition Official ROM from Samsung.

Flash it using Odin.

It have new unlock screen. But don't support Chinese.

Or you can also flash it to Singtel version of 2.3.6.
