whenitrains92
I thought of buying a few stuff from US online retailers. I'm not sure how the shipping works, as in the total estimated shipping cost. Stuff that I wanna buy are those small small kind like watch and tees and shit... Lol. Nothing bulky. What's ur opinion? And is it reliable? First timer here. Thanks!
weeean
There is two methods of using the service:1. You can buy from your US retailer and have the shipping address from Comgateway. This is assume the retailer would accept your credit card.2. You can ask Comgateway to purchase on your behalf if the retailer do not accept your credit card and there is a service fees of 5% of the purchase costs. I had only try method 1 and I feel it is better than Vpost in that if the package comes in large boxes for small items, they have a service to down packed various items for a small fee and still net savings from the shipping costs. The only concerns is that you must make sure your packages do not exceed SGD400 for custom purchase, else you would need to pay 7% GST. Up to now they delivery the stuff within their estimated time stated in the invoice when you pay the shipping costs. Hope this helps. baneberry
i've been using comgateway for over a year now. usually buy from amazon then have cg ship here. it's cheaper. also, dbs usually have promo-code that gives you 5% discount on cg (of course, when you use their card). Guest Guest
I have used borderlinx a number of times, so far so good. I think they are partners with citibank so citibank card members always able to enjoy 15 or 20% off shipping fees.
