People who cannot control their sexual urges just continue to go for screening...what are you trying to achieve?

If negative, you can continue to have sex with strangers peacefully?

If positive, are you going to

- replace regular HIV screening with checking of CD4 and viral load ?

I hope the people taking these tests realise that the antibodies may not show up immediately after infection. There is a window period. Also, I hope there are counsellors around in case the person breaks down after finding out that he is positive ...

I must say you are very lucky to be HIV negative all these years. Perhaps you are well-read and well-informed about how HIV/STI are spread. Or perhaps your lucky star is shining around you. However, your mentallity and approach in addressing HIV/STI epidemics is myopic.

According to him, he developed the symptoms not too long (a week) after the contact he had at a local sauna, he revealed that the last contact before this incident was a number of months apart so most likely caught the disease there.
