Guest bromance
Ever heard of the "half your age plus seven" rule in dating? The idea is that you divide your age by two, then add seven, and that's the youngest person you can date. But that's for straight couples. Age gaps are significantly larger in same-sex relationships, as found in studies such as this. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2582460/Heres-Mr-Robinson-Facebook-relationship-data-reveals-man-older-woman-two-three-heterosexual-relationships.html Some smart guy worked it out 'scientifically' that for homo couples, the formula is "one-third your age plus 10". So in the gay world a 48-year-old will make a happy pair with a guy aged 26. And there are many celeb couples out there who can prove that huge age gaps don't matter when it comes to love. http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/15-celeb-gay-couples-prove-age-gap-doesnt-matter090115/#gs.UAUdBFI So is a 34 year age gap such a big deal after all? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/21/gay-dating-intergenerational-_n_4639453.html Or are intergenerational couples a new trend in same sex dating? http://www.bilerico.com/2014/07/are_intergenerational_gay_couples_a_new_trend_in_d.php What's the biggest age gap you have personally experienced, heard or seen?
