Space constraints, I guess (look at all that equipment!) - and dedication. Schools like Henry Park, RI, cover as cca, but seems like once school gets going, the interest fizzles out... A Singaporean olympic class gymnast? The population of Singapore is so small, there is little probability to find a sufficient skilled gymnast among it. Then the current younger batch at Rio, i already mention Lin Chaopan 林超攀 in page 1 of this thread. 2 others didn't make it....or i think one is in reserve list. Zhou Shixiong 周施雄 Middle in pic. The left guy above is the same as the following....谭忠坚 Tan Zhongjian. 2 yrs ago some pics leaked out of this guy's lost phone. This is one "safer" pic. She got attention when she was interviewed after her heats (later she got a bronze)....with her candid and frank reply and her expressions. Actually she's known for that in older interviews and among fellow swimmers. But to others, it's fresh....and not the usual typical official replies....who would say practice is like hell, who would say already happy with heats result, already her best....who would say being happy is more important than any medals? Mmmm....isn't 洪荒之力 from 花千骨? I suspect some foreigners must be thinking what kind of drug is this? hahaha. Best buddies and rivals. Some fans would naturally think of them as a CP....haha....esp if they exchanged each other's single shoe to wear....checking each's abs etc. Well, not my type....but some find Zhang Jike good looking....abit like badminton's Lin Dan's badboy look.
