Guest
Never thought you would see one day Jackie Chan the HK, TAIWAN actor going into drag and singing in a falsetto high pitched female voice to act out the story of 王昭君 Here's a man who is in harmony with his female side, maybe one day he will do what Ian Thorpe did ?? thickpec
Guest
He's trained in Chinese opera. Where u think the acrobatics come from. In olden days, female roles in Chinese opera were played by actors as it was thought no self-respecting woman should have to 抛头露面. Doesn't have to mean gay or tran. gstringuy26
Do not compare Chinese opera with those european drag queens! Chinese opera has been around since the dawn of chinese in China! It's an art although I have no interest in it! haha...You need to be trained from a very young age in order to perfect a holistic part of all the movements, be it body twisting and acrobatics wheres drag queens a merely mimicking a female character to make people laugh? Yes. I've never understood the deal on drag. They're usually overacting (which I don't find funny) or pushing their effeminate behaviour as humour (which I don't get) and they often lip-sync - how is that even entertaining as opposed to an actually good singer (which I've seen twice in my life). But they have their market so shrugs.
doncoin
To paraphrase RuPaul, we are all born naked and the rest is drag. drag is a form of self expression not hindered by gender roles or rules of society. Society and gender roles demand that men be macho, stoic, all top... etc. But not everyone is like that. We are all different. Some people express through writing, singing, whatever. Some people express through entertaining. Love.

fab
Men, no matter how handsome or even pretty, will still look ugly when dragging. I don't refer to those who have taken female hormone pills. 鍾意就好,理佢男定女 never argue with the guests. let them bark all they want. 结缘不结怨 解怨不解缘 After I have said what I wanna say, I don't care what you say. 看穿不说穿
