Guys being gays we must consider 3 factors:- 1) What is the difference between a friend and a bf? - because a friend can also go to the movies, having brunch/dinner, shopping or taking a stroll somewhere. 2) Temptation in this circle is everywhere - if I my bf doesn't give me sexual satisfaction, what's the point of having a bf? 3) Time is limited as a gay - you can spend 10-20 years sexless with a guy then in the end breakup but unlike str8 couples u get no gain. Most gay ppl after a LONG-TERM r/s tend to tell me , sorry no thanks I have enough of this illusion - r/s is just not for me. Yet those whom yearn for long term r/s or act holy-moly are those whom never experience a real r/s or have 10-20 to spare. My point is sex in a r/s is important - becos I sacrifice the whole forest for your love the least you can provide me is some physical comfort. Unless my spouse is physically ill, sex is a requirement for me. To be fair, attached couple should still hit the gym and make yourself as attractive as possible to your spouse. A hot body always spice up a good relationship.

dear roy, this is not a pasir malam where these candidates can vie for the job for the lowest rate. if you are really sincere in donating, give it quietly, no need to tell the whole world. last i heard he is willing to be president for $1 buck. and what did he say abt gay? nothing that LKY, LHL had not said b4. no discrimination is just to vague, of cos he will say no discrimination, all candidates will say that, what do we expect them 2 say? jail the gays and pack them to palau hantu and throw away the key? did TJS say he will remove 377a? did he say he will fight for gay marriage? did he say he will lobby gay couples to adpot human babies? did he say abt property laws? did he say that gays have as much rights as a married str8 couple that gays can buy direct from HDB? no, he just said no discrimination. during his rally, petrina kow asked him and gays and lesbian, he have a 10sec reply which is obviously prepared again a vague no discrimination. TJS knows very well that the gays and lesbian is a big untaped community by the rest of the 3 TANS. he cannot do anything for us, he is just toying with us by mentioning gays and lesbians. This is an election for the President, not General Election, members of blowing wind are matured adults and we must not be swayed like teenagers by sweet words by TJS. what he said towards the gay and lesbian community is not new.

Buy a house (be it a HDB or GCB) is always good. Everyone needs a roof over their head. As long as the property is what TS likes and within your financial means, then maybe it's good to buy. I make it a rule to never loan out money to friends. This can severely destroy friendships. Instead, I will GIVE money to friends who ask me for loans and tell them to never to ask for loans from me again cos I value their friendship. I gave a girl I know $1000 several years ago as I knew she was in financial trouble , with her messy divorce, etc, and totally forgot all about it. Recently, she handed me a wad of cash, thanking me for helping her. I did not expect to be paid. But I accepted the money. I did not expect to be paid back. But if they do pay back, I take it as a bonus.

I don't know much about Carmen McRae and Shirley Horne, but I'm familiar with the rest. Great names. Nina Simone is my personal favorite. Four Women, a song about four African-American female archetypes (see here), sends chills down my spine, especially that soaring finale. Nina Simone has a very intriguing masculine tone in her voice too, nothing less than lovely. And the way she exchanges the texture of her voice as she impersonates each of the four ladies is endearing.
