It wasn't ideal but at some level it worked for us. I think if I was in a financial position to support the two of us then, I would have taken the same approach about being furious etc. However back then I was just a fresh graduate and no financial means, I had to be pragmatic. It wasn't easy at first and we both did our best to kept the relationship on its course. We knew there is an exit point to this success and when it happened he kept his word and retired from the business. So at the end of it all, it is a choice. We can all choose to hide in the closet and maintain a facade and build lies upon lies and never allowing ourselves that piece happiness because we want to make others happy, or we take it upon our own and be happy.
