happened to me last week: After chatting with me for half an hour, this smooth talker suggests we "Take things to the next level..." Hmm... i wonder what he means... ? Guy: Wanna Video chat on LINE with me ? Me: Nah... I'm shy, maybe next time. Guy: I like ur voice... I wanna see u... Me: Trust me... U don't wanna see me on LINE... anyway i look better in person !!! Guy: As i said before... I'm attracted to u & i don't care how u look... Let's video for a few minutes ... Me: ( By this time i am already weak at my knees after hearing this husky voice over my HP (using LINE) BELLOWING sirens like a wolf trying to get me to press the Video button on my App) Okay, Okay, Okay, You win! i will video-call u now... (The next 19 minutes of video-chat ends with a happy ending of more romantic exchanges btw him & me. Turns out... he looks buffer than his profile pic. Turns out... he looks more mature than his age... he looks hot on video & intentionally wears a tight fitting singlet as though trying to score points with me... ) Today i meetUp with this Guy, btw... Last week a Chinese Guy contributed to my "Top #10 MeetUp Nightmare List" & i was hoping today this guy will undo all damage i suffered last week... but i was wrong =( Guy appears.... Oh No! His profile pic in LINE showed him at age 27yo, now his face has aged so much... Seeing him on LINE during our video chat, he seemed symmetrical in his body shape & size... now seeing him person he was 2 heads taller than me... our Compatibility Ratio plummeted... What happened to that handsome Man i saw during that LINE-video-chat?!? Why is the real person standing in front of me so unlike what i saw that night... who was someone who looked so sexy on the screen of my Android... So there u have it... next time... even if Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt is video-chatting with me on LINE... i will stick back to my SOP... pls send me a recent Face Pic of urself... & when i say Recent i mean LAST WEEK... J =(

I'm keeping this to one paragraph coz those who I've meetUp before will be reading this post... & i wanna respect their privacy imagine me... a year ago... My dating life was the speed of a Boeing-747. Suddenly in June 2017 i accelerated at the speed of a Boeing-Dreamliner-787 =) what have i learnt in the past 30 days? Painful truths about dating guys...Stress after seeing the real person & how that beautiful painting u had of him is now burning into flames... I could write a book based on the 5 meetups I had in June... for each meetUp I entered the space with optimism & left with total pessimism. How am I going to move on? How am I going to heal from painful comments made by some? How to have faith in finding a guy when all 5 guys are a mismatch for my personality & frequency? Well, in all things "The Best is Yet to Be" J

Today i benefited from spending 2 hours with a stranger... Reason#1: He gave me an analysis of my strengths & weaknesses from his perspective & my reaction? I thanked him for saving me $50 for doing the work of my Therapist... in return he said <Quote> Men don't need Counselling , Real Men solve their own problems by doing Reflective Thinking <UnQuote> in return i told him, "U can do ur own self-thinking but i rather pay my $50 to get a Therapist to help me process my thoughts" so there u have it... if not for meetUps ( sometimes with strange & odd pple...).... u wouldn't have discovered these Hidden Gems about yourself which a complete stranger mite accidentally uncover for u ...(in my case, i learned from him instead of seeing a Therapist... maybe i can heed his recommendation to do reflective thinking...) i love meetUps coz its like a "Miss Universe Pageant" ... okay, not in a sick way! what i meant was..... it is like a cultural exchange coz i had a meetUp with someone from a different race, religion, country, social status, income level, etc... i learnt so much from him!!! just imagine... by the time i complete "100 MeetUps"... i would be crowned: <Mr United Nations>.... lol Lastly, one benefit for me is "Collecting Intelligence" from Last week's disastrous meetUp (i maybe generalising here or making an assumption) ... i realised local Chinese men may have some strange habits that i should be mentally prepared for... Today's meetUp taught me: Even after scoring a guy with a A1 rating on my score-Card... when mtg him in person... that Rating mite decrease from A1 to C6...so be prepared !!! the more meetUps i have... the better my "Intelligence of the perfect man is" & this will better help me in my next Execution & Navigation in future meetUps...Hopefully...Fingers-Crossed.... J
