Any other good suggestion apart from standing at public toilets or secret corner?

more for the west:

Also the very first time: The horticulture scene here continues to blossom, as Jurong Lake Gardens West hosts a new offshoot of the well-loved Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) - never have they held it at Non-city location! maybe next year @ our crown jewel?!

Fancy a meal on a tok panjang table??

Now open, since our peranakan museum is closed! The Peranakan Gallery prides itself as Orchard Road’s only gallery space dedicated to an authentic showcase of traditional Straits Chinese heritage. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by a classic Peranakan shophouse façade, complete with an ornately carved Pintu Pagar (fence door) traditionally used as a privacy screen in front of the home’s main door. Take a stroll inside and you’ll see a table set up for a round of Cherki—an old-school card game; the rest of the space features traditional embroidery art and the beautiful garments and beaded slippers worn by Peranakan women.

not free (the what nonya gallery at our airpt ie totally not peranakan even though i hve nt visited it) of cos

but 15sgd incld fd and gallery

-that’s waived for anyone with a hotel key card or receipt from an outlet at Claymore Connect. Unless u do a mothers day staycation

They hve hi tea too

Mothers day feast for your mum esp if u r a baba and she s a nonya???

such pricing is the norm in sg

But if u prefer garden/farmers’ related activities, view at the gardening thread for more:

Esp if u r into eco/env/urban farming

for those who bang on visiting the Crown jewel soon

https://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/Attraction_Review-g294265-d17237163-Reviews-Jewel_Changi_Airport-Singapore.html
do note:

It's quite nice (not particularly special, just a big mall) but a huge inconvenience for people who want to use the airport for its actual function. It makes the airport MRT station far too busy at peak times and more stressful than is necessary. It can't be accessed once you've passed passport control anyway so it isn't that useful for people who are flying. This really wasn't very well thought through.

Good for plant lovers (advise is visit in day time, dont go for childish light shows)

This place is incredible. Not as busy as I expected, feels like you’re in a rainforest and lots of places to eat or shop surrounding the massive waterfall/rainforest. If you fly to Changi, definitely go see jewel

Trpt: many still cant get it straight, i m not sure what is the issue?!
Although ALL terminals allow u to have the access (it is all interlinked) If time permits, take the sky train from either Terminal 1, 2, or 3 :: (these comments are taken all online, not by me)
& do note:

While i agree w his comments , it is STILL too extreme:

I & my wife went to the Jewel after much publicity from local media.

Pros:
big & airy space. large fountain

Cons:
Fake & very artificial
Clone of shopping just like any mall
Nothing special extremely boring
too many people & overcrowded
too many plants & obstructions on the higher levels means you cannot see the water at most vantage points
similar to the fountain of wealth at Suntec just a bigger

this "attractions" are for singaporeans who have no life lol
watching my toilet bowl water flush is more satisfying and uses less time & money lol

Nothing fanciful or IT to me, but

i was surprised too  but i m not a frequent user, i need members to confirm it for me

maybe just some buses of 190 fleet? (it should be at the peak period cos it is meant to solve the flow issue)??? they r doing MORE Now

Even if it is not the ever-packed 190, there should be other buses

i doubt its implemented during the peak hours leh. i used to take 190 from town to cck during the peak hours and would sometimes missed afew bus for a less crowded 190 to come, but nvr see before sia.

Few Baba/Nyonya would ever go to a Peranakan restaurant for dinner, especially if the matriach of the household cooks. It would just be endless criticism of the food e.g. not enough/too much assam, santan etc.

Why bother to queue for A&W in Singapore? When there is no queue in Batam?

Can go Batam and enjoy the manly guys at the same time too. Imagine another kind of cream in your mouth!:P

Night Festival :

Seems less side activities as the years before and correct me if wrong but National Gallery and Singapore Arts / Peranakan Museum don't seem to join in this year.

Hope at least on Armenian Street some festival atmosphere but there is a lack of bars , just standing and watch is boring. Should do like club street on Fridays previously. Timbre is around all year nothing special...

I think is the best to organize in one group of people who have the similar wavelength and liking. I do have a group of friends from Kuala Lumpur that we organize to travel around and we also went gay pride, gay cruise ship along Mediterranean water and gay resort. If not we just organize Asia.

Guest Cannabis gahmen allow now

You can try to smoke some cannabis outside of Singapore just like Joseph schooling.

From the support he's getting, there is no doubt that the majority support this recreational activity outside of Singapore. At least once in your life time and during your moment of weakness.

But just remember to have no "clear evidence" or recent drug consumption and you're good to go.

If not allowed, then why Joseph schooling is spared.
