Non Binary people explain what "Non-Binary" means to them

Recommended Posts

I think that the people in this video have a confusion.  They try to make physical characteristics as fluid as sexual orientation.

It should be healthy to accept ourselves as we are.  This includes gender.  A male should not question his masculinity and a female should not question her femininity. This means that boys should live like boys and girls like girls.  This does not preclude the seeking of the gender we are attracted to,  and fortunately, this is today easier than ever before.

This is nothing special but simply the same case of accepting other physical traits.  We want to be tall but are short.  Like we want to be white but are black. Wasn't it ridiculous the way Michael Jackson tried to become more white, and modify his facial features with surgery?  Isn't it ridiculous  for someone short to use high heels and have a tall hair style?   It should not be so hard to accept what we are.

Of course, I am not for restricting the freedom to change or seek what we desire.  Two gays together are still men, two lesbians together are still women.  And some plastic surgery to change the shape of a nose or firm up a chin is fine.  But it is delusional for a person to have the body changed to accommodate a desire to be of opposite gender to what the person is originally.  We ARE binary, in the sense discussed here.  We are either male of female.  No third gender exists.  Like we have TWO eyes and TWO ears.  We should not desire to have one and a half eyes, or two more eyes in the back (which could be useful but is impossible).
