Are You Affected More by Photos on the Apps than Profiles?

I'm curious. I usually have  3 or 4 photos and a very detailed profile  when I sign on to the Apps. I am honest about my age (well, just a handful of years out!), height, weight, likes/dislikes and sexual preferences. Yet I often receive requests for chats and occasional hook-ups from guys who state in their profiles an age range that is considerably below my stated age. Either that or they state they are a top and I'm a top. I always politely ask them to read my profile. They usually reply that age doesn't matter and they can be versatile. Clearly most had not read my profile first and even if they had, they are more swayed by the pics than by the profile. So I wonder: how many readers here actually read profiles before clicking on a poster?

I do read profiles 80% over profile photos but sometimes... it's just looks over words?

Why did you post this to the traveller section?

 

I will always read the profile for guys who contact me, sometimes after looking at the pics.

 

I receive plenty of those wrong approaches from tops or outside the age range. (but in some countries you're just not a bottom...)

 

In some countries I even receive meeting requests from moneyboys who insist it's for free, but I m careful with these guys.

 

I dislike some time wasters who never read your profile and especially those who are persistent or even turn nasty after you point to the mismatch...

If they didn’t read my profile and ask redundant question, I would usually say “not my real pic”. Most of the time these people will stop messaging.

So if you do read their profiles and if click your heart, then you may face up your choice later. It is really what you have chosen.

Someone really not your cup of tea or not considering, don't waste to your time. Got better things to do huh.
