Baloo
erm... the process is extremely complex.and any mistake will result in destroying your complexion, not enhancing nor beautifying it.for such desserts, go to the proper gui ling gao shops to have the real stuff... which uses real crushed pearl powder in their herbal mix (hence the super high price for their high end gui ling gao...)the rest of us just go for the one step up from the bottom of the range type gui ling gao... quite good leow...if you insist to make it at home, best if you just buy the pre-mix and follow the instructions on the packet.Jelly oso same thing, just buy the premix and follow instructions.I now like to buy those ready made chin chow packs of 200-500g and cut them myself at home and put ice, and if have feeling for sweeter, add honey.Sometimes for variety and experiment, I have added Jia Jia liang cha into the chin chow... very nice...also added sprite on another occassion ... find the mix quite refreshing...and also 100plus... an acquired taste... haha...
