Guest surfer7 Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 hi guysI looking in how to have cool and cute hairstyle, and have been trying to find how i can tell my stylist to cut. anybody know any website that show cute guys with funky cool and cute hairstyle....closeup pics of guys....like those boyband/singer type. Taiwanese, korean japanese guys....and some of our local guys too....hehe. some guys on tv look cool....the long hairstyle type...but when i try to have that kind of hairstyle, I jus can't style it properly. What kind of styling product to use?? I tried clay, but it's sticky and can't really spread even on medium length hair. Wax is like make the hair clam together and it just fall down flat. Some of the guys in channel U-U are the one, superband etc have quite long hair, yet can seem to stand, or can create volume. Their hairstyle also very cool.I tried short style also...but wax doens't seem to make it stand. In the mirror looks ok....after i go out and look at the mirror again the hair fall down again. Is wax suitable to make hair stand...how much wax to use?? It seems that too much wax lump some hair together.so is cool and funky and cute hairstyle aka layered cut?? What are the other types of hairstyle to tell the stylist?? What's the style that have some hair on the sides...dun seems like sideburn cos quite got volume....Anybody want to post pics of your cool hairstyle?? Or video of how u style/wax your hair...hehehe. I really want to learn. I feel sometimes frustrated when i can't get the desired style. Sometimes when i pass by some guys with cute hairstyle, i really wish i can go and touch his hair and examine how it stand...hehePS...I'm not asking for pic exchange. You can edit ur pic to cover ur face...or simply feel proud to show ur cool hairstyle cos i really want to learn grooming. thanks
fabulousasia Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 I was skeptical when I googled gay hair style.. to my surprise there was website on it.aptly called www.gayhairstyles.com but it did not load successfully on my browser.however I found an article on gay.com u may find helpful.http://www.gay.com/style/package.html?sernum=597talk to ur hairstylist or run out and get the latest GQ magazine to see whats in for this season. -- CheersGold Poovan DevaPride As Onehttp://www.fabulousasia.com/

It seems that too much wax lump some hair together. The problem with using wax in a tropical environment is that the product loses its effectiveness. The heat and humidity in the air will cause all the precious spikes you've spent hours sharpening to become dull and flat. Any styling product you use will get affected no matter what, unless you can stay 90% of the time in an air-conditioned environment. Love.
imchaser Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Everytime i go for a hair cut, ill show them a picture of celebrity to show them what i want, because its very hard to explain.I think right now, these haircut below are very in for gay guys. I personally think that very importantly, the texture of your hair and the volume of it will help you to determine what kind of style is suitable for you. Having a head full of strong healthy hair is easier to style. Browse through some Japanese magazines that focus on hairstyle. You can find them at Kinokuniya. Then you can go to your hairstylist to get him or her to cut accordingly

Baloo Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 heh heh heh... to have large volumes of hair on the head, you shud eat lots of raw fish, drink sake, and go public bathhouses regularly. The other thing to do is eat more ramien, and use kikkoman soy sauce, and eat katsukari when not eating sushi/sashimiit wouldn't help to learn some karaoke songs in Japanese either... classics from 'Safety Zone' Anzun chidai (did i spell correctly?) would be nice... dun karaoke girl singers' songs hor... you will grow big boobs and huge asses...oh yeah... watching more Ultraman and Masked Rider TV Series will also help...
Tight Ass Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I don't like man to have long hair and than they use rubber band to tie it. I also don't like man with bushy curly hair and perm up, too auntie. I also don't like man with long hair right up to the neck level and unkempt - look like beggar got no money to cut hair. I prefer crew cut air pilot kind of hairstyle, very manly.

darkflame Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) I tell the stylist to layer and cut short. The sideburns needs to be kept natural. Used to look at good methods via Gatsby website.http://www.gatsby.sg/tv.php I try to style my hair just like the guy in the middle.I know it's just cartoon but my 2D complex has completely influenced my concept of what looks good. Edited December 22, 2013 by darkflame I'm always running after you. You are my ideal. You are me.
NielKlient Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Most of the hairstyles that you see on TV like those of celeb or models are usually heat-styled (eg, blowdry or straightened with a hair straightener or curled with a curling iron). In terms of hairwax, i would strongly recommend Joico Erratic Molding Clay. They only sell it at salons in Singapore, but i usually get them from qoo10 or get my friend to buy from HK.This clay is like the holy grail of hairwax for me. I recommended it to most of my friends and they're all still using the it.The clay comes out really soft like those Gatsby hairwax, but usually i will squeeze some in a container, let it dry and harden slightly. If you wan your hair to stay in place for the day, please use tons of hairspray. http://list.qoo10.sg/item/JOICO-ERRATIC-MOLDING-CLAY/410253302?jaehuid=2000119881
Guest Guest Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 use water based pomade. can comb like gatsby style and strong wind wont blow them messy. can comb backward and slick looking as well. pomade is way better to hold a style than wax. water based can wash off easily, not like the usual old wax based grandfather use. i buy cheaper from this fb seller. https://www.facebook.com/SavronSelectCo.
hotf_ck Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Actually you can buy Joico from those independent toiletries stores in the HDB estates, such as Beaute Spring (if I remember the name correctly). I use Joico too and like it better than Gatsby because it takes three washes to get rid of Gatsby!!!Most of the hairstyles that you see on TV like those of celeb or models are usually heat-styled (eg, blowdry or straightened with a hair straightener or curled with a curling iron). Yes, i heard from my stylist that Gatsby wax do leave wax residue on your hair no matter how many times you shampoo your hair. Joico just washes off so easily.

hotf_ck Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I've seen a store at Parkway Parade that sells it at $16. It's definitely cheaper online, but sometimes you just need it right away. Oh.
