thaiboyz
You should delay or postpone your trip if you can, not a good idea to go now. Not so much of the riot or bombing possibilities, but flight cancellation and inconvenience in transportation etc
erection day
Singapore government has advised Sporeans to postpone going the Thai capital for this week. Other countries have also cautioned their citizens to be extra careful of their safety. It's going to be a chaotic few days in Bkk that's for sure.http://www.bangkokpost.com/topstories/tops...s.php?id=130270http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNew...ory_274406.html Edited September 2, 2008 by erection day

jazz
Go over only if necessary la...I was just online with a friend who is presently in BKK. He said that the trouble is confined to the area aound Victory Monument. As long as you avoid that area, should be okay...However, better be safe than be sorry! Guest -andyjoe9-
No worries. I just came back from bkk last weekend. No slightest problem at tourist area. Visited the temple, MBK and pratunam. Guide told us to avoid chinatown area because it's near the govt house and no one can predict the protesters may move to nearby areas. Only learn that chinatown area was safe afterall when I returned.
