Guest Muscleman
Seriously, the internet era is far over for dating games. 1. Chat rooms: Most of them fake people who have very low self esteem. If you are chubs nothing wrong. You are no abs no muscle so? You look like the boh-gay uncle selling newspaper so? 2. Profiles in portal: Many fake ones as well, and its getting more and more boring. Same old faces looking for love. If you give the website a 3 year hiatus and return to it, you will be surprised to find the same old people looking for love. If not, fake profiles using pics of others. If you do not have a pic that is fine cos of preferences. But why use other pple's pics? The worst case I have encountered personally is a guy obtaining my email address adding me on msn and pretending to be another muscular guy in the gym. He even manages to memorize the details of the "role". Where he gyms, works, studies, and stays. Luckily, I know this "role" personally and so I play along before reporting the stalker to my friend. So who still believes in the internet? You can if you do not have a particular idea of your ideal partner. If not, it's better not to try your luck. radiusulnar
if you chat via video, even if no face, at the very least the outward appearance cannot be faked. and since that is likely to form the main basis for interaction, that can help screen out absolute fakers. fitcubsg
I use gay apps and websites as a form of window shopping, not everyone will be like yourself, truthful on profiles 🙂 Such is life, people are in different stages of accepting themselves as part of the LGBT community. Dont have expectations, best is to keep it casual and when the time comes, you can meet in person in a neutral public place. Dont expect that the person will look like his pic or profile, keep an open minded and lastly, be street wise. Pick up on clues that its not a real profile :-).
