Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 I have came across many wealthy people (with multiple properties) and big fat bank acccounts, and I just don't understand why they don't use their wealth to help the poor. There are many orphans in the world without food nor shelter and yet these rich guys are spending all their money on expensive material pursuits that bring no purpose in life nor into the spiritual realm. Why are these people so selfish, uncompassionate and not see life in greater picture? Why left young children die of hunger or live on the street begging for food, with no shelter to go to. These young kids are below 5 years of age, learning to fight human race and live on piece meal hour by hour and day by day, not knowing when they will die in the street. Why? Why? Why?????? What are the wealthy people going to do about it. I just didn't get it!!!!!! Quote
Guest i'm naive Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 All along, I thought a recession is a good opportunity for those who are hardworking to catch up. A recession somewhat "resets" the economy. However, I was totally wrong after witnessing what happened during the CB period. There are a few rich man son IG profiles I'm following. They are basically not affected at all. Instead of wine and dine, it becomes whine and dine. I see them ordering Grab delivery for expensive food, complaining about first world problems etc.... Wealth is not built in one generation but over generations. This is the head-start their grandparents and parents have given them and they grow up believing it's all due to their own efforts to be able to enjoy all the best things in lives that they are having now. Must one makes announcement just by donating a million dollars for charity. Most are quiet when they make such efforts to help society. Can i just ask if the guest that start this topic could just donate 20% of his salary to charity without anyone notice his generosity. There are many good super rich individuals with heart of gold. They rather rremain quiet. Quote
