Messages in Chinese in Gay dating apps

What is happening to the world of dating apps even in tinder? U keep matching or receiving messages from good looking chinese men and keep sending you message in Chinese and even you tell them speak in english they will still insist in chinese and it is not only 1  or 2 but a few number of this. Are they for real or scammers or what? i dont think this is done by a one person as it is really huge number of accounts doing this. Do you have same experience?

Since the OP's nick is @Guest blued-fair perhaps he refers to Blued. If so, then the vast majority of the tens of millions of posters on that site are mainland Chinese who speak little or no English. Check the distance of the poster from you and that will give you a good idea of location. The site has instant translation Chinese/English/Chinese translation if you wish to converse.

no i dont use that blued. tinder and grinder, and location is always near at least 7 miles away

This is very common now and 100% are fake accounts, just blocked it immediately once you received any chinese message from grindr / jackd. Their intention is to ask you do investment or perhaps get your personal data when you give them the whatsapp number

I thought it was quite common for Malaysian Chinese to type in Chinese? I've not used the apps for ages tho.

Blue is just a mess. I've tried it, and honestly it is just filled with fake people, and scam artists. 

 

Grindr and Tindr are much better  and at least the guys are pretty real for the most parts.

I've commented on this issue with my own experience in below thread

 

Sometimes I think they belong to some kind of group or organisation or company (whichever fits) , because their "script" is usually almost the same

 

Note: Blued is the first app which promote live streaming in gay dating/hookup apps ... a lot of them will stream and ask for coins (which can be exchanged with real money), occasionally there will be decent/hot guy who seems nice ... previously there are even live stream during their sexual encounters, not sure if Blued has now restrict this or not
