Sirius_m Posted October 18, 2021 Report Share Posted October 18, 2021 (edited) No videos to share but just to share one memory that still brings tears to my eyes under the right dose of melancholy. The pet (German spitz) I adopted during NS and kept for 6 years had to be put down because the tumors in her body was too many and she is too old to take another operation. I insisted to keep her company as I refused to leave her alone to face death. Told her not to be afraid as she will be relieved of pain. It was totally devastating as the injection was administered. I felt life slipping away from her slowly as I held her paw. My first taste of a permanent departure was really bitter - much that I still do not have the courage to keep another dog.
