Jonathandliai
Hi all, Hopefully this is the right thread in case the admins F me upside down. In any case, has any1 notice that with Starhub wifi, sometimes you cannot access certain sites eg Cam4.com? I just realised that it's very random and sporadic. Like 30mins ago, I can access cam4, then now I cannot at all when connected to wifi. BUT if I'm using my StarHub mobile data, I can access cam4 via my phone. Any1 has any idea or workaround solution? THANKS in advance!

THANKS in advance! Expand This might not be as relevant but is your connection to your WiFi strong? By strong, I mean like you can see the router in front of you or you're just one wall away. Sometimes, poor WiFi can affect your connection to any website, and your phone may switch to using 4G/mobile data to load the webpages Quote Tech Reviewer on Rhyn Reviews and YouTube: https://youtube.com/rhynreviews. Tried both 5.0 and 2.4 versions and both are not able to connect to cam4. It's not a daily occurrence but sporadic. And when it happens, I try to access the site via my phone (on Starhub data) and it works. So my assumption is that there is some kinda blockage with the internet for this site in particular (other sites eg google, Facebook etc are all fine)

Then it's possible that Starhub is attempting to block the access at some point. The simplest and free way is to try changing your DNS in your router settings but that can be technically challenging if you're not sure how to configure your router. If you do though, you can opt to change it to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.01! Quote Tech Reviewer on Rhyn Reviews and YouTube: https://youtube.com/rhynreviews.
