Guest Curious Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Know of vain guys who skip real food/meals and down protein shake/bars to get lean body, but high protein is really bad for the liver/kidneys? Quote
BudakFit Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 I don't skip any...just eat what I want eat what makes me happy and when I gym run swim hike sex I make sure I sweat heavily...haha What is the point of you skip meals to get lean etc...but your bodyfats still the same? Then you bulk even worse coz your bodyfats will increase.... My tip is burn your body fats first ..eat anything but no gas drink. Instead of chilli use tomato instead. Do more static excercises. Skipping included. Tempo runs.... Discipline is the key. Positive mentality push you harder. Supplements is just add on...coffee also can help you burn fats and lost weight too. Make use of fruits herbs add on too. Good for our skin supple fresh.... Quote
Derren Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 (edited) Natural foods are far superior to protein powder as a source of nutrients. But for people who want to develop muscles, it is often not easy to get all the required protein from natural foods. This is where protein powder comes in - as a convenient and relatively cheap protein supplement. A sensible high-protein diet (i.e. 30% of your calories) will not hurt your kidneys and liver if they are healthy to begin with. Because protein helps people feel more satiated than carbs and fats, there is evidence that a high protein diet helps with fat loss. However, a balanced diet and adequate exercise is essential for good health. As we grow older, our ability to process protein for muscle maintenance and growth decreases. Thus, we should aim to eat more protein as we age. For a healthy, active person, 1.2 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day is a good target to aim for. ShadowBlade Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 i don't monitor my body fat but it's decently low since my body is still accurate to my pic. i'm vegetarian and get some protein from eggs, tofu, soya milk, yoghurt, cheese and natto. i do eat cakes, chocolates etc. and a lot of carbs like buns. exercise is more important than diet for my body, so i exercise (without paying a single cent) daily. make sure to get enough sleep too. renoma1069 1 Quote

Your protein intake seems very adequate Good that you eat eggs and dairy products on top of plant-based protein as they provide more essential amino acids. My guess is your diet is high in protein and carb but low in fat and that works awesome for you. And you clearly work out a ton. Very nice work on your physique! Quote

gerigo Posted Saturday at 09:46 AM Posted Saturday at 09:46 AM For regular guys that aren’t 29 or genetically gifted to easily lose weight by maintaining a vigorous exercise routine, the only way to lose weight is by going on a calorie deficit eating pattern. No amount of running or going to gym will help you lose weight. Just eat less than what your body burns. I tried for 60 years and nothing worked. When I hit 60, I decided to skip 2 meals a day and just like that within 8 weeks, abs appeared. Now I am not going to proof anything here because as a person with slightly more weight than I should carry, I now have a saggy mid section as the superficial skin no longer has the elasticity to bounce back. But at least I got to where I ideally want to be from a body and health perspective. thickpec 1 Quote

gerigo Posted Saturday at 01:17 PM Posted Saturday at 01:17 PM Drink lots of water, black coffee and unsweetened soy milk. Yes I know soy milk has calories but when you don’t eat 2 meals it’s ok. Quote
