And they insist on people taking off their spectacles. And the pictures are terrible. I recall during the 80s and 90s, there were proper photo studios like a husband and wife operation. You can keep your glasses on as they know how to adjust the lighting so your spectacles won't be reflective. They also take more flattering photos. Wondering where to find them? Guess there's a massive surge in applications. I also have to collect at ICA not post office. They said have to scan my iris. I dressed up, set up my mobile on a tripod to take a selfie pic with a white background. Then sharpened the image, cropped it and submitted. It got accepted. If you are looking for some really nice, professionally taken shots, I like Makeover Inc in Concord hotel. Costs a little more. But worth the finished product.
