There is a lot of undercurrents of repressed violence in Thai society. 

 

Ang Mohs have been beaten up by gangs of Thai people if they feel you have slighted their culture. 

 

And knife and Parang violence is just a few glasses of beer too many away. 

 

In the past history I studied history in school Thailand or old Siam was a much feared country of Its Southern neighbours..

 

THAILAND even annexed land from Northern M. Annexed as in forcefully take but no resistance follows.
