This person attached a short video of my friend in all his nudity with face revealed having camsex. I was shocked and quickly contacted said friend to find out why my number was leaked to this unknown Chinese stranger and all. Friend claimed that his cellphone got hacked and was being blackmailed. Advised me to just block that blackmailer. My friend happens to be a firm believer in video call as he claimed it to be safer to verify the authenticity of the other party. I always disagree and am against the idea of video call as it can be recorded. I can only guess that a moment of horniness probably blinded one's judgement which gave the blackmailer an opening to hack and do his evil deed? He’s from HongKong based on the number he gave to me and wanted to whatsapp video call me. Good thing I already read about this scam so blocked him immediately. But he seemed to know some of my personal info which was amusing and worrying at the same time! Need to be careful with this type of scam! I knew that guy from a platform. i thought that we would just to jerk off via Video call. Did not i aware that the guy secretly recording the action. Next day, he extored and blackmail me $1000. He said that he will send out videos to my family and friends if i dont send him the money. He also say if i want to report to police, i shall go ahead. i was not worried too much. firstly the guy did not have any of our contacts, any family and friends contacts too. It was said that Russia tried to blackmail Sukarno with a sex tape of Sukarno's encounter with Russian sex-spies. Legend was that Sukarno told the Russians to release the tapes, saying that the Indonesians would be proud of their President's encounter. This approach worked for both you and Sukarno. Whether it will work or not for other people in the same predicament is hard to tell. So the advice would be to not have any compromising video/pix at all, if possible. Victims will pay out of fear. But there is nothing to fear since they don't know your family or colleagues.
