The problem with Spore actors and actresses are not only the acting (the skills are so unnatural that u know it is acting), but the ability to speak mandarin properly.Like Singlish, most Sporeans are unable to converse comfortably and swimmingly well in proper and rich mandarin, hence making these actors/actresses are not being considered when the overseas producers do casting. Two years ago, she acted in Destiny In Her Hands 断掌的女人, from teen to 50 years old. But as it was a Malaysian production, there wasn't much feedback here. On another note, Malaysian productions these days seem more sophisticated with their plots. Not too superficial family dramas.
