sg89ailikesi
I am under 35, saw a listing on a going to MOP EC. Any advise on the process/procedures on buying a private property? Any things to take note? as interest rate is rising is it advisable to wait till fully mop when people start selling and when the supply is higher the price will drop? Esp when interest rate is increasing. thank you in advance!

Price drops will depend whether there is an oversupply or whether the location is less sought... and dependent on many factors. fly360 and sg89ailikesi

Esp when interest rate is increasing. thank you in advance! Expand When fully MOP, more people will start to sell, but also more people would want to buy, if the project is well sought after. Singaporeans are generally cash rich (even though those interviewed will always say subsidies not enough). Plus the fact that government measures have been around for the last couple of years, but yet prices keep rising. If prices of fuel, goods, food, and services go up, it would be illogical for real estate to go down. If you are born in 1989, you would turn 35 in 2 years time. I would suggest waiting for 2 years to buy a resale HDB. It will be easier on the wallet and bank account.

Thank you for the advise Expand Dont worry too much about prices will go north or south. As long as you did your sums, saved up, and have secured finances with minimal commitment, go ahead and get your own property. The best years of your life is now. Have your own place, run your own household, and live happy.
Malabird
Forget about BTO, your chance is higher in striking Toto. invest young if you can afford, starts with hdb resale or condo new launch; always go for good location.
