Yet the relevance of the Commonwealth Games in this time of the century is up for discussion - because the bottomline is why are we still 'celebrating' colonialism in a sense? Is it still necessary to 'commemorate' colonialism? Still, undeniably, this platform allows our athletes to gain more experience against other super-powers (Africa, Australian, Britain of coz, NZ), excluding the various World Championships and Asian Games (China, Japan).
