Is it ok/gd to go for massage after workout?

Oh dont knw.. someone told me after my workout immediately go massage like the effect not there saying something like the muscle suppose to feel the tension..then u press and rub it off like no effect.

Depends on what kind of massage and how long you take. 

For the muscles release for a short time, should not be a problem. 

For relaxation massage, the best time is after 1 to 2 hours after workout.
