Read from articles yesterday some camping at Pulau Ubin and Lazarus Island saw figures and pontianak watching over them. Some very close and some from the trees. And some smell the Jasmine scent. Last time was thinking to overnight at Lazarus Island. Luckily did not materialise.

Most forested areas are haunted, no matter which country.

If you ever need to go to such an area, always bring your amulets and other protective items.

My question is, when there are no overnight visitors to spook on Lazarus Island or Pulau Ubin, what do the pontianak and the other ghosts/visitors do? Do they go about gossiping about their past lives? Compare makeup tips? Obviously their existence is very much dependent on human visitors. If there are no visitors, what then?

Love.

Not sure what do they eat? Do they sleep? Are they sort off in another dimension being? Are they trapped in this world and cannot reincarnate? They can't let go of things? Kind of sad for them. Or are they like zombie cannot think already. Why no taoist go help them? Can they harm us? How? Possession? Kidnap us into their dimension? Or looking for replacement inorder to reincarnate?

Was always fascinated by the German girl shrine at Pulau Ubin and wanted to make an overnight trip but was delay due to busy work schedule.

Recently the sightings by a security guard in that area on the supposely "German girl" shown at TikTok has rekindled my fascination even more.

If anyone has gone there to check it out at night time and experience anything during your trip, kindly share your experience and feeling. Thank you.

There are many stories and legends about Pulau Ubin and Lazarus Island being haunted, but there is no concrete evidence to support these claims.

Pulau Ubin is a small island located off the northeast coast of Singapore, and it is known for its rustic charm and natural beauty. It was once a thriving village, but now it is mostly a popular destination for hiking, cycling, and camping. There have been reports of paranormal activities on the island, such as sightings of ghostly figures and strange sounds, but these are mostly anecdotal and not supported by scientific evidence.

Lazarus Island is also located off the coast of Singapore and is known for its pristine beaches and clear waters. There have been reports of paranormal activities on the island as well, including sightings of ghostly figures and strange sounds. However, like with Pulau Ubin, these claims are mostly based on hearsay and not supported by any scientific evidence

It's important to remember that stories of haunted places are often based on folklore, myths, and legends that have been passed down over generations. While it's interesting to hear these stories and legends, it's important to approach them with a healthy dose of skepticism and critical thinking.

Pontianaks and ghosts used to be human before, so they will retain their human traits in that form.

Some prefer the company of other humans; some prefer to be left alone, just like human introverts and extroverts.

I've ever come across a youtube story about a contemporary woman who can remember her last lives. Before her current lifetime, she remembers being a ghost for around a thousand years. She literally witnessed many, many historical events during her time as a ghost, including the different imperial dynasties in China, WWI, WW II, etc.

She did mention that most ghosts prefer to be left alone, because when she newly became a ghost, she tried to go back to those places that she used to go to, but as expected, nobody could see her. After some time, it just became very painful and frustrating for her, so she left those places and basically wondered around alone the forest for many, many years, until one day, Guan Yin appeared to her, and told her that it was time for her to be reborn as a human.

If you are interested, I can try to find that video for you. It's in Chinese though.

It's worth noting that many of the stories and rumors about haunted places are often based on subjective experiences or unverified anecdotes. In some cases, these stories can be traced back to historical events or tragedies that have occurred in the area, which can contribute to the mythos of the place.

For example, Pulau Ubin was once home to a thriving granite quarrying industry, and many workers lived and worked on the island. There have been reports of ghostly apparitions and strange occurrences at the abandoned quarries, which may be linked to the island's history.

Similarly, Lazarus Island was once used as a quarantine station for people with infectious diseases. Some people believe that the spirits of those who died on the island may still haunt the area.

Despite these stories, there is no empirical evidence to support the existence of ghosts or supernatural activity. Many paranormal claims can be explained by natural phenomena or psychological factors, such as hallucinations or suggestibility.

Ultimately, whether or not Pulau Ubin or Lazarus Island are haunted is a matter of personal belief. Some people may feel a sense of unease or fear when visiting these places, while others may not experience anything out of the ordinary. It's important to approach such claims with an open mind and to consider alternative explanations for any unusual experiences.

Is so sad becoming a ghost. Can ghosts see each other? Can they make friend or talk to another ghost? Does ghost sleep or eat? Do they eat candle or incense? Can they receive burnt money?

So we are going to be reincarnated and repeat the endless cycle again?

Did she died of old ages, sickness, suicide or homicide?

According to some beliefs, ghosts are the spirits or souls of deceased individuals who have not moved on to the afterlife. If this is the case, then it is possible that they still have the ability to perceive their surroundings, including other ghosts. Some people who claim to have seen ghosts also report seeing multiple apparitions at the same time, which could suggest that ghosts can indeed see each other.

However, since the existence and nature of ghosts are not scientifically proven, it is impossible to provide a definitive answer to this question.
