This is not a hate post. Or am I writing to break anyone’s rice bowl. 
 

I wanted to share my recent experience with a home-based massage as it was quite unusual.

 

For context, I’ve only had one other home-based massage before, though I’ve tried massages overseas (JB, Bangkok, Vietnam, China) and a couple in Singapore. I’ll leave it to you to decide if this place is worth trying.

 

Firstly, this was an in-call session, which I usually prefer since I don’t live alone. However, it was strange that he didn’t have a proper massage bed—he used his own bed instead. The condition of the place wasn’t great and looked like it had seen better days.

 

Now, a disclaimer: I don’t have any issues with individuals on the spectrum. In fact, many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community have ADHD (I suspect I do), autism, or some combi of the two. 

This masseur is clearly autistic; he appears not to have social ques? And the experience felt extremely uncomfortable for me. He kept making comments like, “You’re so good looking,” “Can you be my boyfriend?”, “Can I come to your place for home-cooked food?” etc.

 

Looking back, I take some responsibility for not leaving when I saw the condition of the place. But I genuinely wanted a massage—the prices (listed on Carousell) were extremely affordable, and there were a few good reviews, though I’m not sure if those were entirely genuine (after checking, it could be multiple accounts created by him) or written out of compassion.

 

Also, IMHO the massage also wasn't that great. But in his defense, he mentions that he does more Sensual Massage VS "Tui Na" (which I preferred). It was definitely not a relaxing experience for me. If you’re considering trying it, proceed with caution.

This sounds like the one I engaged 2 years back. Similarly, I found his contacts from Carousell and we proceeded to text via WhatsApp. As I thought it was an incall, he suggested to book a hotel along Geylang since he has no place. He negotiated and got me to pay for the hotel and he will take a nominal fee during our conversation when I told him I was not so comfortable. Eventually I relented. 

We met near the hotel and when he arrived, he was carrying a red plastic bag with the massage oil and a couple of other bottles. He seem to be quite familiar with the hourly booking as he gave me two options to choose. We proceeded to the hotel and went up to the room. During the time we were in the lift, he was staring at me and kept commenting “wow, you r good looking”. 
As it was a 2hr booking and we are required to return the room 15 mins before 2hrs. I proceeded to shower and he was at one corner laying out his stuff. When I came out from shower, he was still arranging his stuff on the floor. I talked to him a bit and I realised everytime he was interrupted, he started on the arrangement from the start and he refused to start till he got all arranged. I thought he had OCD and I was really pissed and let him carry out whatever he needed to do. That took about 15 mins.  

When he started the massage, I noticed that it was not well-coordinated and similar to TS case, he kept repeating “Kor Kor u very handsome, can u be my bf?” In addition, he also told me he was having some family issue. In my mind, I couldn’t wait for the massage to end. When he told me it was done and I checked the time, it was not even 90 mins. Pissed and I proceeded to the shower. The room phone rang when I was wearing my clothing (reminder from the reception to leave). He told me to leave first while he will stay in the room more (slowly arranging his stuff on the floor). Weird. Anyway it din end there, he texted me after the massage for a few days till I had to block him. 
Recently I saw the same post the TS posted and I wanted to give it a try. When we communicated via Carousell, he left his mobile number for me to text him. When I saw the dp and it was a type of flower which was similar to his previous WhatsApp number but different colour. I din proceed eventually that day. Now that I saw the TS post, I kind of confirm he was the same person. Phew! I dodged a bullet.

There are good home based massages. And in his defense, these “black sheep” would do anything to lure unsuspecting customers. 
 

This particular Carousell masseurs wasn’t particularly sure when I asked, should I pay first or after the session. Seems like money was secondary. Makes me wonder that touching bodies was his priority (could be a fetish at this point - but hey, I’m not one to yuck anyone’s yum). And if so, I felt that should have been established first. 
 

Speaking for myself, I would like to give home based massages another go. It is the convenience and if you find one that works for you (and if it’s close to home - or maybe that’s just me?)

I guess one should behave when engaging masseurs listed in Carousell. I came across one which states “no more massaging guys even for those who claim that you are straight. I had enough.” Something along this line and we can roughly guess what kind of bad experience he had encountered.

I tried him before. I believe he is also mildly on the spectrum. But at least he did finish the session proper. Trust me, got my fair share of nightmares from carousell before. Haven’t tried entanglement coz he kind ignored my PMs.

 

Anyway, his massage can be sensual, uses a lot of oil and he actually massaged me in just his undies. Just remember to use a thick and wide towel to absorb the excess oil if doing on your bed. He is also rather chatty even thou I prefer a quiet session normally. I like his chest.. average office guy looking.. so if the price stays the same, I’ll prob engage him again too. Rating: 6.5/10

I would recommend you NOT to try entanglement. PTSD.

I think this guy has multiple profiles. I tried 2 different masseurs over a year and it was the same person that came to my house. It wasn't a nice experience. First time he came over, he massaged 1/2 way, told me he's tired and asked to sleep on my bed for a while. 2nd time he came, took a long while to lay out his things, then throughout the massage, kept telling me his sad past. These days, I'm more careful when the rates are too low.

I think is very common these days. Some are using the name of massage but more interested what kind of person is going.

 

I enquired once for waxing and was ask for age, height, weight and race.... i was like??? hahaha

That person is still posting on Carousell. Seriously, I don't consider him a genuine masseur if he needs to know the client's appearance and vital stats for a massage, whether it is strictly professional or leading to a HE. He probably just wants the jocks and hunks so he can satisfy his lust.

I once texted him but he kept insisting his massage was strictly professional blah blah blah, when his Carousell picture included one of his topless body. So he is essentially a money boy masquerading as a massage therapist.
