Which laptop would you recommend?

 

Prefer lightweight with detachable screen to be used as a tablet. Tried Microsoft Surface Pro 3 before. I like the design but the battery life is too short.

Yes, SP3 sucks. I love Asus Zenbook Duo but it has a new form factor. Quite sure there will be some technical issues for new models

I'm mostly on Macbook Air, but also with Surface Pro 9 for work. Can get about 5-7 hours of battery life.

You dont use it to multi-task*? 18hours , you sure? You tested it for 18? claims are just claims usually

even a mcbook can't last that long as JK truthfully pointed it out


Acer is good! and with worthy budget
Mcbook too pricey for some

However, do not dream for a good laptop under 1.2K:
I kept seeing this thread, about under 500sgd

It's true that actual battery life is typically less than advertised. However, Acer does appear to strike a good mix between cost and functionality.

if not huawei , but the service centre of sg do not handle laps
