I think anything is possible... but that would mean platform owners will need to incur app development costs and higher server maintenance fee for this already free platform. Unless users are open to pay subscription/member fee, or ok with a forum decked up with an array of unnecessary advertisements, I doubt it will make financial sense for the platform owners to make an app just so it's more convenient for users to use.
