Guest Swimmingcruiser Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Honestly, if money isn't an issue, go with the Apple Watch, especially if you have an iphone. If you don't want to use an apple watch or don't have a lot of money, go with a fitbit. I'm using a fitbit and I find it's pretty accurate. Quote
egal Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 any particular model of fitbit? i think apple watch requires daily charging, rite how bout fitbit Quote
ressac Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 i have fitbit versa 2. decent and keeps track of everything (sleeping, running without GPS, workout, walking etc), EXCEPT swimming distances. I swim a combination of strokes for my laps and the distance in the water is not accurate - like clocking only 50%-60% distance (280-320m instead of 500m for 10-laps). So if u use it mainly for swimming, versa 2 prob not a good fit. The higher levels (sense series, versa 3 and 4 has GPS) might be more accurate. Quote
egal Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 thank you, ressac. will go find out about those models Quote

ressac Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 love to be updated if u get one and the accuracy for swim is great! haha Quote

egal Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 i wonder if any brands out there could beat xiaomis twenty one day of no charging Quote
Nivek Posted August 22, 2025 Posted August 22, 2025 Xiaomi band 9 has no dedicated swimming function. It is waterproof but can't count laps even. I was disappointed even though I got it for free. I'm not sure about the smart band 10, if it has the dedicated swimming mode. Quote
egal Posted August 22, 2025 Author Posted August 22, 2025 it does it can even recognise stroke types Quote
