Usually during CNY, I will cook for my family of 20pax. It will be restaurant standard. Can be stressful but satisfying

I've only done christmas dinners every now and then for my family of 7, and i already find that stressful. Salute :D

Cooking is my passion. Music is my life. Reading is my sanity.

Bitching about you keeps me happy.

I love to have western cuisines, especially  during Christmas, as it gives the cozy vibes. Though I have stayed in the UK for a short period of time, I am totally unfamiliar with western ingredients & recipes. Recently, got a friend to get me 2 packets of custard power from UK Sainsbury, still struggling to decide when & how to bake a simple cake (with less sugar) to eat with it.

Hope one day can get a chance to try your food πŸ˜‹

sure, maybe one day, we can find a common day when i am on off, we can gather at someone place & whipped up a meal.

Too bad my kitchen is small, probably can only accommodate 1 or 2 (max) people & is more suitable for baking than frying, else I won’t mind opening up my place for group cooking 😁

I like cooking but dislike washing. Lol

I normally integrate that into part of the cooking process though, like cook and wash up while something is heating up or simmering

That's why... if we want to cook at home... we will take turn... I cook he does washing up, he cook, I do washing up.

Kitchen is a place of building bonding, cooking needs patience, desire to try new tactics and tasting is also an art , I used to have a weekend bf staying with me, we cooked and we eat by mouth feeding, we even make love while cooking half way, that was when I returned home from travelling and missed him so much.
