sg_JHU Posted July 25 Posted July 25 (edited) Did a 90min body + 30min lymphatic massage this afternoon with Melvin (@Mark6786) . He is a very friendly and professional guy, felt very at ease throughout the session as he pressed away the knots at my neck and shoulders. His strokes really worked on my knots and he really made me feel comfortable and relax. Before the massage it already eases me up. He is able to pinpoint which area need more attention and help me to relax easily. The strokes are precise on my sore parts and I almost fell asleep. He was very accommodating too since I booked kind of last minute. His massage technique very on point, pressure just nice, got that lil bit of sensual touch also which honestly makes the whole session more enjoyable Few weeks back I tried the other 2 male masseurs at the same spa, paid $200+ for only 1.5hr massage plus scrub. Then I compare with Jerry’s package, 2hrs, same scrub, and it’s less than $180. Like huh, how is that fair!? Quality also not any better what, if anything Jerry’s service still edge them out. This is exactly why I keep coming back to Jerry. Not just about saving money, but he genuinely delivers good service consistently, and he’s funny and friendly which makes the whole thing more relaxed. If you want value for money, good technique, and a masseur who actually makes effort, go try Jerry. Quote

First time i ask for 1.5h, he asked me whether want sensual massage and i thought is included but is NOT..which he charge me without telling me need to additional..FYI (sensual = lymphatic/Hip massage) 2nd time i went..i really just wanted 1.5h massage only..he asked me the same.. so i said no need to him and yet he anyhow press me like wasting my time, very terrible..which really ridiculous.. I understand why you see it that way. To be clear, I'm not trying to break anyone's rice bowl. I also don't believe it's right to publicly condemn or dismiss someone based on forum comments alone. When I said “be more careful next time,” I meant that customers should also protect their own interests. Before agreeing to or paying for any additional service, please make sure the therapist has clearly explained what the service involves and how much it costs. If anything is unclear, simply ask first and make your decision after you fully understand and agree. At the same time, if a therapist has done something wrong, I'll deal with it privately and hold him accountable. If the feedback is valid, it will be addressed. If it's a misunderstanding, we'll clarify it. We're all adults, so clear communication and mutual understanding should come from both sides. That's how I believe these situations should be handled. Thank you for your understanding and consideration. Hopefully, this experience will be a lesson for all of us, allowing us to learn, improve, and do better in the future.
